I often visit read but only post if i want or think I can contribute something positive to a post or just read the post that catches my eye

What is the point of having a feedback forum if whenever anybody posts some feedback that you don’t like, you just come out with the same old “we only listen to the silent majority” bull[zb]? If they are silent, what exactly are you listening to?
Basically, what you’re saying is you don’t listen to anyone. The ones that “shout” are at the bottom of your list and the rest don’t say anything so there is no point whatsoever in having this feedback forum.
Why don’t you just admit it? You care not for anyone’s opinion other than your own. And before you start quoting irrelevant numbers and saying “why let something like facts get in the way of a good rant”, may I suggest you get some new material because I’m sick of hearing that one.

Sorry to scupper your little conspiracy theory ladies but this is the first time I have been on this site since my last post over 6 months ago, and that is only because I received a PM earlier suggesting that I might like to take a look in this forum. Frankly I wish I hadn’t bothered as I can see within 5 seconds that it’s the same in-fighting, trolling and trouble-causer free-for-all that it was at the turn of the year. And just for the record I do not post here under any other account username.
As for the thread topic of discussion itself, well guys, are you honestly surprised? This is a direct result of Rikki’s pig-headedness and inconsistent methods of administering and moderating this site. He knows best and everyone else is wrong. “If you don’t like it you know what to do”. Perhaps if he had paused, taken a step back and listened to the constructive criticism and advice that some members provided on where improvements could be made then maybe the site would not be in the situation it’s in where most of the long-standing regulars have long since departed and the forums are now largely devoid of anything interesting to discuss or even read.
But why should Rikki even give two hoots about this? It’s matters not a jot to him because his pay cheque from RBI lands every month and naturally the site visitor count will continue to rise while ever it continues to be promoted from commercial transport websites and magazines, hence giving the (false) impression that everything is hunkydory and that he is an internet God at running websites because the forums have had twice as many visitors as the previous month. But wait… So how is it then that with these “record figures” the forum content lacks any substance, many of the regulars have departed and there are numerous topics in this forum from individuals pointing out the downward slide in quality and questioning the inconsistencies in the running of the site? Of course, “that’s just inconsequential because we had 90 billion visitors last month and therefore the vast majority of our (unpolled) membership must be happy.”
