Bought this last weekend, Piaggio Vespa ET4, 125 cc, W-reg, 10,500 miles. Paid £900 for it.
Closest to that I’ve ever had was a Suzuki ay50 katana sports scooter , pound for pound it was probably the best bike ( I know bike it stretching it a bit )I’ve had , but I used it solidly for 5 years , rain / snow etc & it never missed a beat , you could ring its neck everywhere ( 55 mph if I remember correctly ) & was just fun , made you feel 20 again
More than got my money’s worth out of it , think I paid £600 for it , lad passed car test , didn’t want it anymore

Very impressive actually. I think hybrid is a much better option than full EV IMO, lots of toys and very clever.
Obviously nowhere near as fun to drive as the 3.2 V6 22 year old Merc parked behind it
What I keep looking at ( though not newer model ) , Kuga , titanium x , I’ve always struggled with driving position in focus , thinking driving position in kuga would be higher up , my arm seems to be bent weird in focus , keep getting lost which gear I’m in , never had it before , and in 3 years I’ve never adjusted Too it , yet mrs / my girl are fine , strange , looked at eco sport but just didn’t do it for me , think it was tailgate arrangement
Keep comming back too fords but maybe time to look elsewhere , mate had grandland x and that was nice to travel in , but not driven

I did consider going down the scooter route. (a PCX 125). But I decided on the CBF.
It was only like £400 more but I do like geared bikes.
I regret it in a sense because of the under seat storage which is fantastic to have.
Also I will have to get a top box + top box mount which will set me back £150… which is annoying…

Surprisingly, if the speedometers can be believed, the Vespa actually does 2-3mph more than the CBF did despite being automatic. The storage was a factor, not only is the underseat bucket large enough to take a full-face crash helmet but there is a glove compartment in front of the rider. I will also put a top box on it, something I wouldn’t do with the CBF as I think sports tourers look ridiculous with one.
Focus goes next sat , lost power , still runs ok , so made decision to change , daughter uses it to go all over country so as I fill it up with fuel & the mileage she puts on it ( 14,000 since dec ) decided to get rid
No good getting to0 good a car putting that mileage on it , so brought a Astra biturbo , not my cup of tea but my girl likes it , heated seats / steering wheel / sport button etc so hopefully will save a bit in fuel , tax same as focus ( £20 ) so good news
Paid £6000 for focus , 3 yrs later got £4000 , so happy with that .

Maybe not as mrs now saying she won’t drive it as it’s not got a normal hanbrake ( you’d think she’d of said that bedore I paid a £500 deposit ) , my girls now jumped on the bandwagon , she’s not keen , so going to look at another focus & hopefully push for more p/ex to try & mitigate the £500 I’ll loose ( deposit ) ,

Are you sure the deposit is non refundable? The dealer has hardly lost out has he? I would push for it back. (Or you could always put your foot down and make the females in your life adapt to the new handbrake? Nah, thought you wouldn’t)

Well I have had my CBF 125 a few weeks now (done 155 miles so far)
The CBF exhaust already showing signs of rust lol haha.

But kind of expected. That being said I leave it out in the rain and I only commute 5 miles to work.
As for ‘top speed’ I have not pegged it once. I plod along at around 30mph most of the time. Sometimes I do 50mph but not for long as it is just to go to work and the local town.

She ( mrs ) has apparently got the £500 refunded , will see if it goes back in bank in bank this week

piece of [zb].
Hondas made in Japan and Hondas made in India/Pakistan/Italy are two totally different animals. Mechanically they are as good, everything else about the build quality is poorer, which includes rust issues. I had more rust on my Indian-built 10-year-old CBF125 than on my Japanese-built 45-year-old Honda Express.
I’ve owned this MK3 Zodiac for 18 years now, I had one as a first car back in 1985 and this will be the last car I own!

That is beautiful…how come you are taking a photo whilst someone else is driving?
