I have a toyota corolla 1999.
(the pics are not of my exact car just ones I found on the net).
I kinda like it. It’s reliable and very simple to work on. It does like like a PoS though.

Literally. As Ferrari would say you pay for the motor the rest of the car is free.
Two of five cars I own, the old 165,000 mile Volvo does my daily commute and the even older Merc is a weekend car. They will both see me out I reckon!

I wonder if the Chinese electric MG (or it’s battery) will last as long as the Rover!
I’ve had a 675 since 2011. In order they were a Daytona SE, 2x Daytona 675R (white then black) STR (2011). And now Triumph have changed to 765 to make my username wrong!

It certainly looks to be, keep it on the road and use sparingly and in a few short years time it will be much admired at classic car shows!

I’ve owned this MK3 Zodiac for 18 years now, I had one as a first car back in 1985 and this will be the last car I own!

That and the PB Cresta and Austin Westminster/6110 and Triumph 2000/2.5 were all in great demand in the day.The trade would compete with each other to get them on the forecourt because they knew they’d sell quick and for a good profit.
But the Ford and Cresta at least should have had their respective parents’ V8’s as options.
It’s obvious that the engine bays were made to fit them easily without a problem and many people converted them aftermarket.
Other than that a Raymond Mays head with triple carbs could make the Ford 6 motor fly.
