Don’t agree with you there but thats IMPO, someone would have to of gone to a lot of effort and trouble to PUT that morrisons truck in the photo and then a load of other questions would then be raised due to the image manipulaton!!!
Like has been said before i think the original intention of the pictures was to show 3 trucks in convoy and then then mr morrisons came along, pure chance that happened with the morrisons truck.
The friend who sent me the pictures has nothing to do with West of Scotland and I do not work for them either…So there was no posing

It looks like 6 of one and half a dozen of another to me.Looking at the map my theory is the low loaders are driving pretty slow up to the slip. Morrisons thinks if he guns it he can take all three and still get in front of the first low loader by the time they reach the slip. Matey in the last low loader gets on CB and tells his mate about Morrisons OR low loader 2 is looking in his mirror and see’s what Morrisons is up to and decides to shut the door. So Morrisons then decides that as low loader 2 has shut the door, and low loader 3 isn’t going to let him in, decides to pull over and cut low loader 3 up. If Morrisons is going back to his depot all he will have on is empties and the motor would accelerate pretty quick, so he thinks there is enough time to take all three low loaders.
I think FH12 has also had the same thought and has pulled out to do the same. I wasn’t there and I don’t know the road. But looks like 50/50 to me.
Gotta say that this looks like the most reasonable and balanced explanation of this little incident
And I would be surprised if anyone on here can say they haven’t done something similar at least once in their driving careers, whether thats shutting the door when your running with ‘yer mates’ or pulling over too soon onto someone who is shutting the door on yer!

Agreed Paul, but what else did you expect from 15 year old kid. He should be banned from the forums for doing what he did before he removed it. Like you say Paul, there’s a high chance that with Morries strict policies the driver will lose his job when the email hits the TMs desk. I hope you’re satisfied with yourself Joshh, [zb]. 
I wasn’t there so can’t comment on the scenario, but although I can’t blow the photo up, I doubt the Morrisons driver is a full timer as it doesn’t look as though he is wearing the uniform.
also I don’t ‘get’ the snobbery regarding supermarket work. Ok, the phrase trolley doesn’t bother me, I think its funny. But, I’m out there driving the same roads as everyone else. As for not being allowed in the back of the wagon, well if you really want to you could help (as I do sometimes eg when they are forklifting the load off and I push the pallets to the back); but the idea is that you drive to the shop(s) and the wagon is tipped while you have your break. So, the wagon should be in and out within an hour (if full load), and tipped legally. Otherwise we’d be tipping on break, or tipping then taking a break and blocking the yard. On frozen, we have usually 2-4 drops a day; often with ‘imaginative’ routing. It did use to be a bit easier when you could split the 45 min break into 3 15 minute sectors, but thems the breaks.
So because we usually don’t tip ourselves, and don’t do nights out we’re not real drivers doing a real day’s work? Oh well maybe I just bit on the smelly bait

Was the Morrisons Driver planning on cutting back in, maybe he was going north up the A90 and was passing the WOS motor and the wind caught him.
No idea what speed these vehicles where doing, infact know very little to judge it really.
Ive not got a clue, all i know it is really out of order sending those pictures to the guys boss, espec since not knowing the full circumstances.
That guy no doubt agency will now be outta work, a few weeks before xmass. At least with supermarkets still get work in the new year but thats screwed for him now, well done hope he aint got a mortgage, wife and kids to support.

FFS guys. What josh did was wrong and immature. How many of us can say they’ve never acted in an immature manner? At least he’s got an excuse! Instead of calling for his banning and or public beheading can we just stop the kneejerk reaction and think for a minute?
Our duty, no, our moral duty is to educate and guide our young, not vilify and demonise them. We need to point them in the right direction, try to ensure they don’t make mistakes and correct them when they invariably do.
In an age when the popular press paint a picture of Joshs’ age group as feckless hoodie wearing yobs it’s refreshing to find one who can’t wait to start work, to contribute, to aspire to something.
I’m sure Josh deeply regrets his actions and I’m sure if he could take it back he would, but life doesn’t work that way, so it’s how WE deal with it that defines us.

The only knee jerk reaction has been from Josh who has decided to send these pics to someones boss, without knowing the full details.
Educate and guide the young, ive no problem with that. But then again thats the prevailing attitude, when someone other 15 year old chucks a slab off a motorway bridge kills a driver its a poor misguided 15 year old who then only gets a few years in young offenders institute and comes out by the time he is 20, and record prob clean a few years after that.
Education and guidance, don’t send pics to someone employers unless you know 100% they are in the wrong.
Maybe cost this guy his job, its not a slight F-up its a huge one for that guy. If it were one of my kids doing something like that i’d ban them from using the internet and boot their balls.

Dont get me wrong i’m not condoning what joshh did but did he acutally send an email? he only said in his post he will, not he has just a thought.
I’ve had a look at the pic as i had a spare 30 seconds and unless you got very good imaging software and time/patience you cant make you the reg of the truck only the trailer number which i guess they could back track that way find out who had that trailer 5th december…but even then that one photo doesnt prove anything, but sadly as has been said before in this day and age the smallest thing and your told to sling your hook!!!
