the road has changed a little but i belive the trucks in the pictures are just coming up to the junction with the road on the left

Thlanes as the 1st low-loader

I reckon that if the [zb] driving the 2nd low-loader hadn’t been blocking lane 2 that the Morrisons would have been able to get past them all and get back into lane 1 before the slip and I bet that that was his intention until he was suddenly brought to a halt from having his path blocked. Granted, he shouldn’t have just pulled across into lane 1 like he did but if low-loader no.3 didn’t like it then he should be pointing the blame at his mate in low-loader no.2 for driving like a [zb].

It’s funny how things turn out when you’re presented with ALL the evidence isn’t it !

Dont know what planet you come from…but you are talking rubbish, HOW MANY YEARS Experience counts for your comment.
just shows how much respect you have for other drivers if you think you can pass 3 heavy loads in under 300 mtrs safely
The Morrison driver is peed off cos he probably has been trying since the last rounabout at Altens to get passed, but as the 1st load is wide the second isn’t letting anything past as the carrigeway is quite narrow and might still have layby’s on it. the slip road goes to 1 lane.
As a ■■■■■■ driver I experienced 1st hand some of the antics that go on when traffic is approaching wide loads or trying to overtake. You try and slow things down all they do is put a finger up at you, then they go flying round a corner and see a load 5 mtrs wide. I can assure you that its a lot safer in the truck than in a ■■■■■■ Van

Well there you go - the truth is out now guys. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

If that 1st low-loader is your definition of a WIDE LOAD then you’re on drugs. FFS, the load isn’t even overhanging the trailer by more than 12" either side :unamused: . Even a 280 excavator would blow that into the weeds in terms of width and yes, I should know, because I’ve driven both step-frame and swan neck low-loaders with up to 45 tonne diggers on the back so I know exactly how wide they are.

I really don’t know why you’re defending the low-loader driver(s) because if he (the 1st one) needs more than 1 lane to get an all-axle steering trailer round a gentle curve then he shouldn’t be allowed behind the wheel :unamused: . The old 4-axle low-loader I used to pull didn’t even used to steer and you needed an area the size of Kent to get it round a corner - even that wouldn’t require more than 1 lane here :unamused: .

Just face facts - the driver of no.2 was driving like a ■■■■ and was causing all sorts of unnecessary havoc behind him if he’d just stuck to his lane. There’s nocomments with an :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

And you felt like responding to a discussion that finished 8 years ago because ■■?

Maybe because he had something pertinent to add to the conversation? Just because it was 8 years ago doesn’t mean that the topic is closed, new members looking through the forums might have some new insight into an old thread. I think if we weren’t allowed to post on old threads the management and the mods would lock them after a certain amount of time.

So the then 15 yr old Josh will now be 23 years old … I wonder which way his career took him in the end?

heres the w.o.s.craic…hey malky, says no3,this morrisons fanny weve been holding back thinks hes getting past us now…just watch me close the front door on him once he goes for it says no2…put your anchors on and make him miss the exit to show him he cant mess with the big boys.says no 3…retarder on in no2,and job done…playtime for pricks.

A friend photographed the actions of this Morrisons driver coming out of Altens at Aberdeen on Friday. Couldn’t wait 2 more minutes till he was on the dual carrigeway

Professional Driving !!!

how brave is the bloke with the camera■■?.wow what a pure numpty(driver not cameraman).
i wonder if the driver in the daf changed his name plate from “nae stress”,to “lots of stress”?.

Looks like there’s a number on the front n/s of that trailer so it wouldn’t be too difficult to contact someone at morrisons about his manner of driving. I’m not saying that’s what I would do or even the best plan of action but if he’d have been that close to my mirror I’d have been fuming. What a numpty :unamused:

Luckily for the Morrison’s driver it wasn’t “Nae Stress” driving or he would be a poor guy now.
It would have been interesting if the trailer had went onto the verge with those counterweights on

morrisons driver saw the camera thought mmmmmmmmmm if i pull in now i will get posted on trucknet for sure

Its drivers (and I’ll use that in a polite way ) like the Morrisons driver we could do with out
What a pleb

Not only is the Morrisons driver trying to help one fellow driver by getting rid of his dirty mirror but also seems to be trying to help the one in front by doing a close inspection of the rear lights - what a nice helpful driver :exclamation:

Just email the pictures to Morrisons, it would be nice to see what they would do about it

Yes Morrisons driver is a arrogant [zb]…But the heavy guy only needed to back off a bit, or lose his mirror!! Then he would have a problem whilst the Morrisons plank is on his merry way.

I wouldve backed off a bit, wait for said plank to stop then…

Looks to me like they’re already on a dual carriageway. You can see a central reservation in the last pic. So it seems the Morrisons pillock has even less reason to do what he did.

Whatever that has hapened in this scenario he shouldnt be pushing in…

I could be wrong but looks to me that there’s more to this that meets the eye…

Firstly, why is the first of the two low-loaders straddling both lanes? It could be as innocent as he’s just overtaken his mate but if you’re running in convoy that’s something that you wouldn’t do as it serves no purpose.

I get the feeling that the outside lane is coned off just out of shot and the first of the two is deliberately blocking the lane to stop the Morrisons truck getting past. I reckon the traffic was moving at about 25-30mph as there’s virtually no spray from the trucks and if you look at the last pic you can see the following traffic is very close to each other which would support my speed theory. It doesn’t excuse the Morrisons driver seemingly barging his way in, but my gut feeling tells me that one or both of the low-loader driver’s were not entirely innocent in all this either.

Cannot make out the registration of the truck but is that trailer number 1237

IF that was the case, then why did the morrison truck not simply hold back and pull in a safe distance behind the second
