I appreciate making people drive better would reduce accidents but unfortunately we are not robots so this will never happen & even if it did the ones who cause the accidents cannot be educated because they are thick.
More congestion equals a higher chance of accidents as people drive closer together, this is simple physics.

I have taught many thick people to drive and yes they can be educated and learn to drive safely.What is more difficult to change with a thick person(your words not mine) is their attitude.

I’m all for photos BTW, they often can come in handy at a later date. Sometimes the police even appeal for them. After all, if you’ve nothing to hide…and all that bollox. I don’t buy the idea it might upset relatives coming across a picture either, if your relatives dead or maimed then thats what they are picture or no picture. Some relatives might be glad of some photographic evidence, its hard to say.
Always seems to me the civil service want to photograph/film everyone all the time, when its done without their say so they don’t like it. You can’t have your cake and eat it.

I don’t really get all this hatred towards albion, the haters say he’s a broken record, but has it not occurred to any of you that he mostly posts his views on threads that are about a lorry smashing in to the back of another lorry.

As in all cases anyone has the right not to agree with what Albion says but he should have the right to say what he thinks and the usual rules then apply attack the post not the poster if you don’t agree.In the case of his crusade regarding seperation distances he’s got it 100 % spot on just as I’ve often made plenty of observations regarding same.The problem is many of his other posts seem to contain over the top unwarranted criticisms regarding driving standards where the benefit of doubt should apply concerning other more complicated issues which damages the credibility of his arguments in general.Which is unfortunate considering that the importance of the seperation distance issue can’t be overstated.
2 golden rules of driving…1…if the traffic in front slows down…you slow down.
2…if the traffic in front stops you stop.
(any other action is a crash?)…the secret is leaving enough space to do so safely■■?

Totally different mate . I’m sat reading a thread on TN and see a photo of a crash scene , yes I’ll look of course . Taking a picture of said scene is sick enough , posting on social media is a lower level of evolution again .
Mike C wet his pants over a hunting picture last year which was too graphic for him , obviously a vegetarian or he’s never been into a butchers shop but here he is justifying photos of splattered family and friends(to someone) .

I see some have questioned what will happen in future as our roads get ever more congested, I’ll tell you what will happen, technology. Just like gear changing has been taken out of most of our hands so will some of the braking. Trucks already have this technology, it will become standard in time. Like it or not it’ll react faster than any human can and save a lot of accidents of this sort happening.
