hello neil…yes i am from somerset and i drove for cyril morrell for a short while and i can remember bartletts, now that was a long time ago.

Hello Neil…can remember wilmotts think they had a dark brown livery and im not sure maybe wrong firm but i think there was a driver Stan…not sure but anyway would like to see pic of the commer, he was running two a 2 stroke and a perkins 6394 which was a 13 tonner but the maxi was running at16 ton both with parkhouse containers one wooden and new maxi that arrived had an alloy box.

Nice pic of the commer Neil that one had a perkins 6354 dot 1 i think it was with a Thorns wooden container painted the same colour as the chasis cab and the fair with Frys truck could possibly be up at Priddy, not to sure but looks something like it.

Yep, I’ve seen the old girl, on the scrapbook thread I believe. That brought back a few memories, good and bad… :smiley: :smiley:

Yep, all well thanks. Not driving anymore and haven’t been for sometime but still have the diesel in the veins. Great to hear that yourself, Marie and all the family are well. I must start doing the shows again, it would be great to catch up with one another…
