What was the problem with your Scania 141 at Gaydon on the Saturday nigtht ? Cab tilted, bolts on the chassis, and a mean
engine on view . Got a good couple of photos, though !

Yes, I’m sure they had an Albion 6 wheeler with an all alloy body on it. Was that the one you have photosof?? I’ve got a book here somewhere with Gloucestershire hauliers in it, I’ll dig it out & see if Warners lorries are in there.
I hope this thread continues to thrive, there must be a host of photos out there somewhere. I just wish I had them. I can think of 16 Cattle hauliers reguarly seen in local markets around here but no one has any photographic evidence of them ever existing. What a shame.
We should always have a camera with us shouldn’t we.

I took the cattle wagon to highbridge last week and then on to langport this week met some intresting people ollie cope .phil they could remember the lorries in 50 /60 john watts from barnstable well known for running cattle lorries we chatted about cattle lorries and cattle hauliers ( moved some loades. ) lad from bampton cattle transport he knew martin that drove for stewarts very intresting weekend
Came across this early A E Stuart foto with Ross and Roy and Alf at the wheel, and to think what that one truck turned Stuarts into over the years.
