Busy Mr Trump

Right …back to this ridiculous pedantic (and latest) argument you have created. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Kamikaze pilots (Jeez I do not believe I am actually indulging you on this.:face_with_rolling_eyes:)

Sentimentaltality… influenced by emotions conjured up by the ideaology of Shintoism creating ultimate and misguided ott patriotism…dying for country for basically nothing.
So basically taking precedence in this case over logic and common sense, in contrast to logic and common sense taking precedence over sentimentality…as most of us do.

So how have I contradicted myself with ‘opposite thoughts’ ??

(Btw…Feel free to just ignore me on this point, I can live with it… life is too short for this type of trivial point scoring cack to be given any creedence, but fill yer boots if you need to be proven right…again.:face_with_rolling_eyes: )

Something the whiners on here will never understand.

You could post that the Lib Dems are the best party in the history of politics, Brexit was a mistake, Trump is an evil dictator, there’s no 2 tier police and justice in the UK and he’d argue and disagree with you just because it was “you” who posted it. :face_with_tears_of_joy:

Yep…and we were doing so well in last couple of days…:face_with_tears_of_joy:
He was maybe getting ‘‘sentimental’’ for our usual arguments.:face_with_tears_of_joy:

By stating that

LOGIC is more important in patriotism
and

The ultimate patriots were not logical.

If you cannot see any contradiction there?
Then I really don’t know what else to say on that.

But to the start of all this.
Earlier you spoke in what I took to be dismissive terms of Walesa as “sentimental”.

You espouse patriotism.
You say patriotism is sentimental is sentimental.
But when someone talks of patriotic things you choose to call it “sentimental” not “patriotic”,

Nah I can’t believe that for a minute.

Ok mate, I’ve told you what I think, I have explained my own interptetations, and the way I see it, yours are evidently different.

Just interptet it as you think…(or choose to) .
Not fussed tbh.

Interesting alternative POV. Apparently this was written by a Harvard doctor of geopolitics. However as this is the interweb it could equally have been written by Doctor Harold Shipman for all I know.

Please read…by the way before you read this…Did you know Zelensky met with Democrats 1 hour before he met President Trump and Vice President Vance in the Oval office? It amazes me how simple so many people think of the world. Black or white. My way or hell. It’s scary how so many are ignorant of the facts. Let’s see if we can untangle what happened… Ukraine’s Zelensky was to come to the WH and sign a rare earth minerals treaty, splitting the profits between the two country’s 50/50. The treaty would help reimburse the US having given Ukraine $350 billion during the Biden administration, to include long range weapon systems, a violation of NATO treaties with Russia. With the agreement, US companies would flood Ukraine’s eastern regions where the minerals are located, and where the war is ongoing. Ongoing mining operations would cool war drums and uncouple both Zelensky and Putin. Trump would therefore have a strong negotiation position when he turns to Putin to end the war. With US interests in these regions, Putin would have to leave much of it for the protection of Americans, thus creating a safety zone for Ukrainians and Americans mining there. This is the same concept of the “military troop trip line.” A concept employed with US troops around the world since WWII. Even if Putin dragged his feet in agreeing to a long term peace, Americans swarming these areas would de facto create peace zones. Trump has other cards to use with Putin, but trying not to use force against his intransigence forces. Trump, Rubio and others have explained to Zelensky what the strategy was and how it would lock-in long term peace. But today, Zelensky, having been familiar to the WH simply signing check after check, thought he could bluster a security agreement into the planned deal. This sudden change upset the strategy by allowing American miners to flood the Ukrainian regions with giving Putin no legitimate option; as America wasn’t sending troops or weapon systems, but under the cover of getting repaid what was given already, Ukraine would have a start at rebuilding. A Trump peace agreement would come when all the chess pieces were properly placed on the board. Impetuously with a healthy dose of ego and out of his league… Zelensky insulted the US for demanding the whole enchilada, or nothing! This was the same tact Palestinian Leader Yasser Arafat took when invited to negotiate peace with Clinton, and thumbing down whatever assurances the US president offered. This was the strategic plan to make whole US taxpayers, Ukrainian civilians and soldiers on both sides, and acquire the rare minerals to break China’s stranglehold on them around the world. The sad thing is, Zelensky will be the sole loser as his country reads the tea leaves. They could either turn to the fickle and feckless European leaders who haven’t spent any money on their own forces, NATO commitments and will now need to replace American money to pay for the Zelensky war machine… and having to buy that weaponry from either Israel or the United States as they have to use and maintain those US weapon systems already given by Biden. But the big loser will be the Ukrainian people. Besides their country trashed… there are not enough males of all ages to fight on, as Russia imports North Korean soldiers by the thousands. And, since the EU will practically be declaring war on Russia, violating NATO treaties… Russia will cut off all petroleum and natural gas and shut down Europes power system. Europe is already scrambling to replace closed nuclear reactions and disastrous renewable energy sources. Putin will have the upper hand by then and will leave things to a nuclear standoff… or WWIII. Wake up people, this is not rocket science!
This was copied from another post and is right on!

That is maybe so, and it may well be accurate,.definitely logical…

But a few Trump hating random Brit lorry drivers, ‘‘Influenced by emotions rather than logic.’’…(hmmm where have I heard that?) know so much better.

And at least 1 will no doubt come back, break it all down in quotes, and refute all that as…‘‘nonsence’’.and others will just keep up the memes instead. :face_with_tears_of_joy:

There are several thoughts there that seem to fly in the face of logic to me.

US companies would send civilian miners into active war zones?
How the **** would that happen?
Send willing navvies in with a pick and shovel? Or send US or other troops into Russian occupied territory?
Fantasy !

So Putian would shrug his shoulders and say “OK, since King Trump s and US or other troops are there I will retreat”?

Exactly the opposite.
Russia currently occupies land that Trump wants. Possession is all important,
not legal rights.
Looks to me like Trump has already agreed stuff with Putain. Namely to screw Ukraine between them.

In the meantime in the good old UK…
All this stuff is great for the govt to take the opportunity to bury domestic important (and embarrasing ) news, and to distract people via msm towards foreign politics from our own.
Stuff like this.

Well well well, if the dipsticks divisive tariffs haven’t come back to bite the orange buffoons’ backside.
It’s only been a matter of hours since they were implemented & the stock market is down as much as Tesla EV sales. Warren Buffett isn’t impressed with the dumbest president in American history.
The amount of stupid MAGA people who think the Chinese are footing the bill for these tariffs is unbelievable.

Looks like the first steps of the World recession you wished for then eh? In favour of Trump being succesful in…well anything.

So ‘every cloud’ eh? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

LOL I enjoy every morning sitting down to breakfast & going through the latest belly laughs from clown land & it’s doing wonders for my SAD at this time of year.

I just want to get going on the growing season with hundreds & hundreds of plants & seedlings growing on in grow cabinets in my greenhouses, but until then I’m front & centre reading about the mango nut job & his boss Gruppenführer muskrat.

Meanwhile back to common sense and logic…and one of my favourulite things…somethingbthat differs and defies the popular narrative.
In fact a lot of the same points I have been banging on about.

Bizarre as anything in the first 90 seconds, the presenter says that Starmer is not popular, then that at last he is getting a positive press, and thinks both of these things are bad.
Unpopularity: bad. Getting more popularity: bad.

He will be praising patriots and slagging off sentimentalists next. :grinning:
90seconds, I’m out.

Would expect nothing else off you mate unless its a left wing source, so nothing lost from my pov.

Getting popoularity and backing from posturing and gesture politics … with no real substance when push comes to shove, does not really count.

We’ll see ee how popular he is when the first body bag is shipped in.

Dunno? Farage has a lot of support.

And so the point scoring tennis goes on from Franglais…
Well done.:+1:

Well then, address the inconsistencies in the piece you posted, that I pointed out.

Do not go off on one about me being biased etc. And then accuse me of that when I return in the same vein you use.

Line under that.

Address the hypocrisy of the video saying both the popularity is good and bad.
