LBC correspondent described it as “a mugging”. A planned ambush. He was in the room, alongside other reporters. but AP and Reuter are banned and Pravda are let in.
Obviously no one (responsible) is overseeing the non-elected person who has been going around telling lies and going into confidential records in government offices.

Just watched the clip 5 minutes ago.
Trump says if it had not been for the US the war would have been lost within weeks…true, like it or not.
It is all well and good Zelensky trying to lay down the law,.I can see why,…and good on him for trying, but he is never going to win.
Thing is Trump holds all the cards, it is the only deal on the table, Zelensky is using conscripts, because presumably most of his regular Army are dead.
If the US wash their hands of him, it will be total Russian occupation.
So short of NATO storming in resulting in WW3, there is no alternative, at least with this deal the firing will stop…(obvious retort is can you trust Putin to honour it…who tf knows?) and negotiations can start .
I have found in life that it is all well and good being the hard man, or trying to appear to be to get your own way, but when the odds are stacked against you, it is better to know when you are beaten.

Problem with this is as I said before (when on about Starmer and his meeting) …The hatred on here is clouding the judgement of common sense and logic.
Nobody said this potential deal will be good, everybody knows Trump will benefit, but it is far better than the other 2 options…more killing and inevitable nailed on defeat.

Europe bites off more than it can chew, takes on the Russians alongside what is left of the Ukranian forces…and without the usual backing of the US, and our own kids come home in body bags.

Yes Ukraine has part volunteer part conscript Army. They started with a population of almost 40million, (compared to the UK 63m) and fought Russia to a standstill.
Russia has about 146million over 3 times the population of Ukraine and they too are using conscripts, and still not enough, so North Korean troops too.
The alternative was to tighten the screws on Russian trade sincxe their economy was declining anyway, but if Trump is holding hands with Putain again…I dunno.

My opinion is your right in most of your post but you have to look at the Ukraine side
