how do you mean… has he tried to ban books for racist language. Has he thrown people in jail for calling a spade a spade. Has he passed new laws that mean people can be thrown into jail for nothing. Has he empowered the police to use those rules and woe betide them if they dont. Has he lied to his underlings pretending it was a choir boy that killed a load of children. has he raised the cost of employment so even more people are collecting benefits but at the same time cut the amount of benefits so that even more people are on the poverty line and feel they have to choose which bill to pay. has he stopped people saving for the future and tried to get them to invest in america when no one else will?

I have been struck by the way some contributors to this thread post.
Some seem to emulate the style of James Joyce, the free flowing, stream of conscience, fluid thoughts, land on the page.
But there is a significant difference: the posts we are often given show no knowledge of, not conscience acknowledgement of any form of reality as we know it.
Free flowing phrases, a wild disregard for the rules of grammar, as the writer struggles to get their emotions onto paper (the screen) and above all an artistic abandonment of reality as their very own thoughts are laid before us!
Bravo! To those who are brave enough to show us the vast scope of their thoughts, just as Jack London once showed us the vast, cold, and empty wildernesses in his works.

He’s currently suggesting that it would be a good thing if he could circumvent the Constitution and serve for longer than is permitted. He’s using the courts to go after his political opponents. He’s ignoring the courts when he doesn’t like what they say. Oh, and he will put more people on the poverty line due to his insane tariff war.

Again, read what I said, “IF”. Will he get his wish to become the immortal President? If certain Republican politicians and commentators get their way then yes. Is he using the courts for his personal grievances? Again, yes. Will more American families be struggling financially over the next few years. Unless he gets extremely lucky and the rest of the world takes the knee to him then yes they will be on the poverty line. Will he win every golf tournament he enters? Probably. Is this because he’s a superb golfer? It must be as I can’t think of why he wouldn’t.
I don’t know why you’re throwing the Starmer comment at me as I’ve never had anything good to say about him in this forum. Take out the last 5 letters of your post and that just about sums up my feelings about him.

I can’t see what the problem is here, seems like an all round good egg to me. I’m sure that the fact that one of his lawyers is the brother of Trumps current Attorney General is purely coincidental.
Note to all those who are busily readying their response with a large dose of whataboutery. I also think that all the crooks that have donated to ALL political parties here in the UK should be brought to book for their actions. And those already in politics who have benefitted to the tune of millions of pounds in respect of the Covid “fast lane” shenanigans (yes, I’m talking about you Baroness Mone)
