For revenge I like to bide my time for a few weeks, lead them into a false sense of security..then pounce
Oh Jeez man don’t get him started again on that one ffs.
ill carry on watching my back then
America and Europe have enough resources to sustain our combined populations.Unlike China.
You obviously prefer the idea of a more powerful China than US.Be careful what you wish for.
Wow, now you’re a mind reader. Pointing out the fact that Trump has not ruled out the use of military force to get hold of Greenland now makes me a card carrying member of the “we love China club”.
Oh, and just so you don’t forget I’m still waiting for a response to my post about who took the UK into the EC. No rush, any time will do. I just like tidying up the loose ends of any conversation.
I can’t agree. China is out for itself, and with it’s massive population needing feeding, quite prepared to pull any tricks it can to achieve world supremacy. China after all alongside all the tat they make to undercut our own manufacturers, also makes most of our electronics, widgits and almost everything except decent cars, and even that they are making progress with now. Playing the tariff game with Trump would only have worsened everything, no one wins in a tariff war.
My assessment of the contents of Beijing, Moscow, Washington etc, is that they wouldn’t know what a communist was even if the large print edition of the Oxford Dictionary hit them on the bleedin head. repeatedly.
Putin etc use the title communist only to deflect attention from their rapacious appetite for personal wealth. Which for them has the cunning secondary benefit of destroying the true spirit of communism for any other who wanted to adopt it. Bit like how few people would want to be a scout master now after Ian Charles Silvester 60, from Portslade was convicted of abuse. People in power deliberately misuse terms, in order to do their criminal deeds, or mislabel others. They’re all a bunch of despotic thugs.
Yes, when are they going to conclude the investigation and send her to the gulag?
Lock her up
You do have a sense of humour after all
Interesting article which explains a lot of thinking, and finishes by hinting at the ability of the individual and social media to affect the outcome, merely by being aware of the brandnames of US goods and making a choice whether to buy an alternative brand. viz Tesla. You can’t sell a product that no one wants: Viz C5
So?..
My proverbial ‘rat’s ass’ makes (yet) another appearance when it comes to China…but Is there something wrong with a country putting it’s self first,.as Trump is doing in the US ?
I can see nothing wrong with that at all, it is like a family analogy, you look after your own first, and sod anybody else when it comes down to the crunch.
We in the UK would be much better off in many ways if our government adopted the same system, instead of the present onr of putting the indigenous British people at the back of the cue in order to please everybody else.
Is that an implication of Communism being an advantage, or something to be proud of?
I am getting a very strong vibe here that you fsvour that system.
Explains a lot by some of your ppsts.
Removed…put on wrong thread.
Looks like the moron in chief is doing a bang up job of screwing the country up, judging by the protests.
Trump is NOT doing what is good for the US.
Just because he says he is, does not make it so.
He is telling the masses exactly what they want to hear. Just as other populist politicians do.
And like other populist politicians he says “I am not a politician”.
He is a rich man who did nothing to earn his start, he is a full member of the establishment, he has stood on contracts that break and bankrupted those who worked for him.
And before we get the same old mantra “They are all the same”, that is pure bollox.
All politicians are not the same.
They are all humans with feet of clay, but they are not all serial liars who tell more lies than truth. They are not all corrupt deceivers.
The “they are all the same” nonsense gained currency in the UK when Johnson was shown to be a liar and cheat. The establishment of which he is a fully paid up member could not defend his actions so just used a scattergun approach of sloshing various accusations around. Unable to show him as a decent person, they sought to drag down others. And guess what those who read headlines, but not the full articles, or read hear a half arsed story and believe it, are sucked in, again and again.
Blah blah …Trump is this that and the other..
Blah blah …Johnsn was this Johnson was that.
Blah blah what everybody else right of Stalin thinks is b0llocks.
Blah blah …those with an opposite pov are plain wrong..
Blah blah…Brexit (oh…you forgot to mention that one.)
Same old same old…
What else would I (we) expect from a ‘‘useful idiot’’ for the Lefty brigade.
So, nothing useful or relevant to add to the discussion?
Looks like more are protesting than showed up at the 2016 inauguration, and of course the recent one was held indoors.
2016, when Trump says he had biggly more crowds than Obama had previously.
just because you say he isnt doesnt make it so either… the economists that have a brain cell and want to make money from investing in america think he is and that is what counts. I havent seen him smashing up the government backed savings schemes trying to force people to invest in america because no one else will.
no your right many arent as bad as starmer.
post deleated
Errr Nah not really…
Just answering your point aimed at me with all the usual type guff that’s all.
What would be the point trying to penetrate a totally closed mind, and especially so with your ‘‘type’’ and your political leanings and loyalties.
A bonus for Liz Truss as noted in the comments here
"Liz Truss breathes a sigh of relief and thinks “phew, i’m no longer the worst steward of the economy”
Especially when she looks a bit closer to home and sees ‘‘Rachel from accounts’’ the (false) economist.
Pleeease no endless lists and bullet points comparing the Tories again, to prove another of your points…it was only just another of my attempts at humour.
