I have seen some commentators suggesting that the markets will fall further quite soon.
They think that some investors still think the tariffs are just a short term hit, not an ongoing strategy. If the markets decide the tariffs are going to stay longer then there will be a further shift.
Apparently the thinking of some investors is that because the Trump team are all chasing really quick trade deals (in the same way a second-hand car salesman tries to sell his cars quickly) the tariffs will be eased sooner rather than later.
The counter view is that the tariffs are here for the long term. That Trump really will see the global economy change and shrink, rather than admit he made any sort of error.
He will go to his grave saying “It’ll all work out, just another few days”…just as Truss is still saying her budget was great not mad!

These tariffs will significantly increase the price of its Megapacks and Powerwalls in its biggest market: the US.
