But I was quite content to have a few beers (whilst winding up Franglais ) before meeting up with her for sight seeing…thanks for asking.

I remember visiting the Gut in the 1960s. Lots of women were there wearing identity badges, similar to the old bus driver’s badges.
I guess that was so you could complain if you weren’t satisfied with the ride

“Trade” itself needs to defined.
Is that all trade? Or just goods? Goods and services? Imports and exports?
Trump tariffs are affecting (so far) only UK goods exports to the US, (for UK interests).
Mentioning all trade of all types might well be strictly accurate, but could still be misleading. And as I mentioned, although a serious worry, is not likely to be as damaging to the UK as bad as leaving the EU.
If were still in the EU we would be actually be better off in spite of Trump putting larger tariffs on them!
The spin from some politicians in mentioning that the EU is being hit harder than the UK, ignores the fact that we are still punching ourselves in the face every day we stay outside the EU.

In the first part he talks about the $1 trillion savings made by DOGE.
Looks like he someone who believes the publicity put out by Space-Karen, then. But hardly given credence elsewhere.
He talks about increasing revenue from one to two $tr, but does explain how.
He seems to be just repeating the claims made by Trump about what will happen.
He is merely repeating the words of a serial bankrupt, but explaining and justifying nowt.
