See above as well. Making it clear WHAT HE DID WRONG and WHAT CONDITION HE HAS FULLFILL is nothing about discussion. It’s just providing basic informations.
If there is a crime involving some things wchich cause it that the trial cannot be open for public, it stays behind closed doors, BUT THE INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT ACCUSED WAS SENTENCED FOR AND WHAT HIS PUNISHMENT is given to the press.

I don’t see any indications in mike’s response giving specifically what he did wrong… It’s even upside down:
you are on pre mod because you cause a disproportionate amount of the teams work keeping an eye on your posts.
From my forum experience if the mods don’t want to keep eye on his posts, they can just stop pre-moding it
Okay, screw the rules.
ROG was put on pre mod after requests then warnings to stop doing various things going back over several months at least. This was done by PM and phone calls but all requests were generally ignored. This created extra work for the admin team and they got fed up with it. If requests then warnings weren’t enough to make him change then pre mod is the next step as it makes the work load easier when all the posts are in one place for approval rather than trawling through the various forums. He was given far more leeway than might be expected because of his input but he didn’t give a crap for other people and couldn’t see that some of the things he did were not appreciated by some members. Pre mod gives someone a chance to change those things without being banned and while still being able to use the boards but ROG obviously does not want to make use of that, either that or as usual the bleeding obvious has going straight over his head. I suspect the latter.
A while back he had extra privileges and access he had on here removed for basically the same reasons he is on pre mod now but it didn’t alter things.
Right, I don’t expect to be a mod after that post, or possibly even be able to post on TN any more but you know what? It really doesn’t matter, it’s one internet forum among many I use, or have used, and as with them all it’s not real life and people shouldn’t take these things so [zb]ing seriously. For every post on this thread ‘supporting’ ROG I have at least that many PM’s from different members which say things along the lines of, “Thank [zb] he is on pre mod”, along with complaints about him spamming peoples email when the pre mod first took affect.

No, after that post I am pretty much sure that it will never be specified. But I can survive without this knowledge, as my interest in it was rather from the side how the case was handled, not specificaly about ROG (That was edited).
It’s only a forum and even if there is something I don’t like with it, I can still have many benefits from Trucknet.
So now, when I know what I could know, I have my opinion, and although I don’t like how this case was handled, I promise to do not touch the subject anymore.

Here’s the 3rd vote of support for Coffeeholic.
Orys, just as an outsider looking in, from what I have seen Rog has been posting things that he doesn’t know anything about…eg drivers hours.
Normally this isn’t a problem as there are loads of people jumping in to correct him.
Some of the things posted by Rog Could potentally cost drivers hundreds if not thousands of pounds in fines.
Now imagine a newbie who has gone through his test with rog’s help so trusts his info over (for example) Coffeeholic (because this newbie hasn’t come across his posts)
Ultimatly (going to the ultimate extreme here) Trucknet could be on the recieving end of a court action because the wrong infomation has been put out resulting in a fine or fines being recieved. Hence why we can’t say "Fred Bloggs has gone under unless it can be proved. By putting Rog on pre-mod allows this info to be “edited” before it escalates.

That’s interesting subject for another discussion - it’s very interesting for me that forum owners in Britain can’t be held responsible for other people’s actions. But - as I said - this is a topic for completely different thread if not completely different forum

To call and end to this, legaly we do have a duty of care, and if incorrect information is given out on a regular basis , and people are incorreccty identied as experts then we have a problem we are potientaly liable for. we have tried to mitigate that liability by asking people to not post in a certian manner, they have chosen not to- to protect ourselves we then need to check what they are posting before it appears in public, if they then choose not to post at at all■■? well thats their choice

that seems fair enough to me
now maybe people will stop squawking about Rog and get back to worrying about the important things in life instead of feeling sorry for old glassback who has really brought it all upon himself

I was not going to post but this deserves a serious & TRUTHFUL reply
I was NOT, repeat NOT, contacted by phone, PM or E-mail prior to this pre-mod sanction - unless you count the one that was sent to me as the sanction was imposed !!
There was a PM request from a MOD some months ago about not calling members EXPERTS and that was complied with immediately - that was the ONLY PM I had on anything.
When I am informed of EXACTLY what I did wrong so that I can avoid doing it again, then and only then, will I be able to continue.
ROG I’ve no idea about emails or PMs but you were certainly advised on more than one occasion and by more than one mod to stop screwing up threads and stick to replying about what you know but you repeatedly ignored that advise.
I’m sure you wouldn’t want to keep this in the limelight but it has to be said that it’s taken 7 days for you to make the above reply, and frankly I doubt many people would believe that you’ve only just seen a thread that’s all about you
As far as I can see you’ve posted twice since being put on pre-mod and both times it’s been to tell us that you won’t post again until you get your own way, well sorry ROG but we know already 
If you want to post you can and that has been proved above, if you don’t want to post well that’s a shame but it’s your choice.
