I see that ROG has only been posting ‘elsewhere’ for 2 mins and is already in hot soup giving out his opinion as fact when a call to the DVLA to clarify proved it to be the complete opposite. And he’s still adamant he’s right . Love it!

Not the first time he has posted misinformation elsewhere. I can think of a few occasions in the past when he asked me questions by PM but I had sussed by this time he wanted the answers for other forums and was making it look like the answer was his so I gave him the wrong answer and up it went word for word, with no acknowledgement he had obtained it from someone else.

Anyone who takes the time to actually read the thread can see the situation, for those that are a touch lazy…no-one has been stopped from posting, one member has decided not to post due to his posts being monitored before they appear on the forums.
Unless anyone has anything constructive to add. I suggest we all just let this fade away as the non issue it actually is.

I logged in over there last night and after looking at a few threads on driver’s hours and the like I spotted three things he is posting as being legal that would in fact get people into trouble and possibly cost them money. Nothing changes it seems.

He seemed a really nice guy and offered some great advice.
Nobody should take any advice at face value - as it is only ‘advice’. Rog’s replies were detailed and helpful - he should not be banned, put on pre-mod or any other such nonsense. I have not seen one of his posts removed or taken down for any ‘breach of forum rules.’
Let the poor chap back on.
