Is it just the transport that has gone? Is the egg plant still running as I used to bring liquid egg into kettlesing, lovely job, once you got the shells out of the foot valve

Egg plant still running always looks busy as you drive past ,dont know
about transport every vehicle seen there is white but so are most nowadays
so they could just be delivering/collecting.
Cheers Malc.

its a bit of a long shot but do any of you remember a chap called billy potter ?not that long a shot - WW Potter he traded as, it helps the memory that my sister was best mates at school with his daughter, but i never had anything to do with him myself
he was a good mate of an acquaintance of mine, who told me that he had had a breakdown many years ago and was never well after that? my best mate at school also had a cousin who went o/d after working for WWP, colin spencer was his name but again i never knew him directly
just reading that, it sounds more like the deep south of america than west yorkshire - can you hear the banjos, boy?
he had some on steel in the late 90s steve waterhouse run his motors from there i think i used to live across the field and see them going out in a morning

How about a small family haulage firm, ‘Jack Smith’ from Thorpe Arch near Wetherby. Had half-a-dozen artics and nearly all who worked there was a relative except me, not much money but plenty of laughs.![]()

Stuart Darnborough. That is a blast from the past Didn’t Elvis (Lewis & Bertschi) drive for him for a while?
somebody must have pictures of yak trucks
did they have more than one?
sadly this was in the days before digi cams so not many bothered to take pics of trucks. I took a few but over the years they ave got lost or damaged etc.
I can’t find any of Panalpina trucks, even though they had a very smart livery, mind you they weren’t often stood long enough to catch.
Would have liked one of TKH477R, a big 'enery that I had for a few years or even GVH 224S when they tried out the chipperfield circus livery!
