Hi,Yes Keith is still in Swizerland his eldest lad is my brother-in-law ,spoke to him today and told him to tell his old man about this site so he can maybe catch up with some of you on here that knows him talk about the good old days.

Hi Lone Wolf I knew Jim Beresford through the vintage scene and I worked for him, only a month though back in 96. I did night trunk with George Skelton and a lad called John, we ran from Wrights just outside York down to Blakes cold chain storage at Alcester near Strattford on Avon. Good steady job and good brass but I just couldn’t sleep during the day so I knocked it on the head and moved on!

Chas Longs now have moved to a yard on the side of the A1 by the top Catterick exit - still running smart waggons inc a couple of FH gobstoppers - seem to do some bagged gravel deliveries with a stripped down tilt
