Holts are in Howden now, they took over the old Hewson / Bullens depot, it is a Gilberdyke firm though.

blast from the past the houseman foden was driven by my dad it was wrote off in the yard when william houseman left it with the handbrake off while building up the air,it ran down the yard and knocked the cab off he then got the merc !!

do you have any old photos late 70s early 80s they did a lot Italy to Prato i worked for Transmec from Modena italy
and loaded back to Italy every week from them groupage or any old drivers who remember the 1st 3 english drivers on Transmec

who could forget paul bannon? (no idea who mr ward was though) - had some unfortunate fire related incidents 
no photos though sadly. i don’t remember the transmec drivers but i do remember maurizio who drove for frizinghelli but lived i’ Bratford
