Department for Transport say so. ~You know, the department which runs VOSA are just one of many who, unlike most DCPC instructors, can read and understand regulations.

just take 15 min BETWEEN 0 and 6th hour, take 15 BETWEEN 6th hour and 9th hour and then 15 mins BETWEEN 9th and 15th hour and jobs done, but some if not alll of those breaks will also coinside with your tacho breaks as well, i just can’t work out why people get so woundup about the rtd regs

15th hour! Ain’t it illegal to work that long? lol

tachograph:
Having said that I have stopped driving and sat and waited while the tachograph clicked over to 4 hours 30 minutes driving time, guess what it was legal, I wouldn’t recommend it though :stuck_out_tongue:

I managed to achieve that on Friday - got back into the yard with 4:27 on the tacho. Found a free parking slot and reversed in. Clock showing 4:29 when the wheels stopped turning. As I sat completing paperwork etc the clock rolled over to 4:30 and the display started flashing. That was close!
