Me & Driver Steve @ Truckfest Peterborough 2010 after we did the Arena Recovery Show

That is one smart (and VERY expensive!) lorry!
Does it run out of kibworth or Lutterworth? We usually get the fm Volvo drag ours back when they go bang! Never seen it on the road tho :frowning:

Lewman:

its like something out of transformers. gotta cost a fair whack for that though

Not too sure to be honest, will ask next time. I usually use em, do some of my work up round that way.

its runs out of kibworth,

it also has a stealth axel, so it can actually tow something

These photo’s were taken in the early 90’s; and are definately not the smartest recovery vehicles you will ever see, however for me they will always be associated with some special memories.

Thanks for looking.

Fords from Tetney near Grimsby have this old beast, I think its an AEC Militant MK3 with a T45 cab on it.

Seen in Manchester town center.
