Looking for a decent pair of waterproof riggers any suggestions cheers
I,ve been wearing a pair of De Walt brown riggers for six weeks now, waterproof, breathable and warm, they took about a week to “break in” and now they’re like wearing slippers.£70ish on Amazon
was looking at a pair of v12 s
Had v12’s,they’re ok but heavier than the De Walt
Do they do Ugh boots with steelies?
Been after a pair of size 11s for ages
dewalt bolsters, screw fix £40 lightweight warm and waterproof on my second pair now, had the first for 6 months on multidrop only changed them coz my feet stink , still got another 12 months in them at least

What do you want riggers for? Only thick ■■■■ drivers wear riggers (usually twinned with a baseball cap) - that’s how you can spot them.
Left hand down!:

There’s only one thick driver on this thread who can’t seem to read a post! the lad asked about RIGGER BOOTS duh! I am on log haulage out of the forests and wear riggers in winter, the gay boy boots you recommended wouldn’t last 2 minuts
Dr martens tamarack st. Not exactly riggers, but waterproof and very comfy and warm.
But they’re not cheap at £105

I work in an environment where gay boy ankle boots would be useless ! hence imm after proper mens boots Happy Xmas dear
Im wearing some Site Gravel riggers from screw fix at the moment. They’ve lasted longer than the JCB, scuffs, dewalts and V12’s I’ve had previously.
The only last me a year at most usually though as they do take some punishment.
Only £20 too!
Bucklers made in Scotland ,‘hard as nails’ is their slogan ,good boots and a tight fit for riggers ,cost around £75 .
I wouldn’t recommend Site footwear as I had some steel toecapped shoes and they started leaking if I’m walking in the wet, I took them back after only having them 6 months and the bloke in Screwfix admitted "Site are rubbish get some Dewalts they are far superior " so that’s what I’ll be doing.
I’ve had my sites almost a a year and they aren’t leaking yet. Apart from when I tip an oil drum over and all the water off the top goes down the top of the boot as happened many times today.

it’s the rubber soles which have split underneath on both of them, nice and comfy when dry but after walking on wet puddly ground then I get wet socks as it seeps up through, these are safety shoes I’m on about.
It can be worthkeeping an eyeon Lidl and Aldi for work wear and boots they often have the bigger sizes too.
