Sir +:
So, in an attempt to get back on topic.
You must be new here ■■
Sorry, folks. Dunno what came over me! As you were, chaps.
The helicopters in Poland…PZL at Swidnik is where I used to tip. Actually use most parts from Westland Helicopters in Yeovil. FACT! They have been and still are trying, to shut the old run down place in Poland down. Thank the Italians for that!

So Polish built Russian helicopters were really British helicopters all along ?
Bleedin’ ‘ell reading thro’ the 9 pages of this thread you can easily forget what the OP was about.
Anyway if what the OP says is correct then the driver… and maybe company…has committed an offence punishable at first by confiscating the wagon. If the allegations are proved correct then they have to accept, and face the consequences, they know the law. Tough maybe… but that’s the risks they take.

No. Simply since we are in NATO now, not in the Warsaw pact, we had to find new suppliers to our helicopters (and other military vehicles btw.) within the NATO.
And of course bigvern1 is wrong. They were flying for years on Soviet parts and could do it no problem. End civil users still buy parts from Russia. It’s just political thing that the supply chain for the factory now can’t be relying on “our enemies”
I should say sir+ that Mr Koops is’nt paying any UK duty Myself.
I ran with a huge belly tank for donkey’s years but I did’nt do the job any cheaper than them that did’nt I just made more money than them & it was My choice to take the chance…
How in gods name do We struggle to control this when We live on a tiny island ffs?
The sooner this lot are put out of service the better imo. Confiscate the trucks & put the drivers back on an aeroplane home charged to Mr Koops…
There always one of these types around be it Hammerer, Koops, Rynart, Derooy the list is endless & it makes Me sick, I was told by taking an O’licence it was to be protected from this & VOSA have done sweet FA since forever…

You seem to be new here?
He’ll get used to you !!! Either that or Carryfast, Mad Keith, Windeseer will beat you to it
Either that or i’ll sink a whiskey and give you a full page rant !!

I thought I might be wrong because you say so.
So I never took British made helicopter parts to that hole in Swidnik? Must have made it up!
They may have used Russky parts…I never said they didn’t. I know they use what I took.
Did you know that The Rolling Stones and the Beatles were both Polish and that the wheel, bread and daylight were invented in Poland too? One for the fact fans.

I don’t say that they don’t order parts they need in Britain. I said that this does not makes the Helicopters British. And refered to your opinion, that they won’t be flying without British parts - they would be flying with parts from other supplier, just as they did before they started buying parts from Britain. Nothing more.
Just as if I deliver Scottish parts to BMW factory, BMW does not become Scottish car. Or I doubt that if Czechs stop deliver parts to Bentley, Bentleys will die…

Oh, I never heard about that? I bet you have some interesting sources to prove it, just as I have when I give you some informations?

I do yes, some annoying full of himself polish man told me so it must be a fact. He was so very authoritative I had to believe him.

I’m having nightmares here. Orys gives a 100 line essay on Poland, Keith gives a 100 line essay on how the whole Eu stinks, Windseer says in 100 lines how its illegal, Carryfast goes 100 lines about how they havn’t enough axles or drive power compared to the yanks and i’m waking up at 3 am in the morn shouting NO !!! My bird is waking with me and saying go back to bed, relax, its a dream!!
In a bit “they would not fly without British parts”.
They would fly, just they would be fitted with parts from another supplier, as they were before.

Don’t believe everything you hear. And don’t believe in authorities. Always question what you hear and demand proofs. This is just a little advice from another Polish guy that annoys you
Have a nice day

I would prefer that it was Keith Richards who made 100 pages essay on Rolling Stones
---------POLISH RELATED FACTOID---------------
1967 concerts of Rolling Stones in Warsaw were first ones in history when Western Rock’n’roll star of such formats visited country behind Iron Curtain
NO NO NO Tomasz…The parts I took, were model specific. They were designed and built for what they were building. Not those antiquated heaps you crap on about. I think you’ll find even the Poles couldn’t bodge THIS particular item!
