Whos had a pay rise in the last 2 years and did they loose something else to compensate?
I think we had 4% over 2 years so can’t complain.
I managed to improve my rates by 5% year or more this year depending on hours worked.
We had 25% pay rise. Better than slap in face.

Yes I would say 25 % is definitely better than a slap in the face.
Last 2 years ive had 2% and 3% but we lost shares and our pension no longer takes contributions from overtime. Parts of the business are being sold off willy nilly people being made redundant left right and centre. Its no the company i once joined, it is a gloomy horrible atmosphere. Im told there is some new manager down south a women by all accounts and she is going through the business like a cancer!
2.5% last year, and this year 2.5% + 1% at christmas if we reduce fuel consumption 
Decembers RPI rate every January every year except this year, then 2.4% if we attend every shift in a week.

if we do 2 jobs a day thats over 60 mile from freightliner leeds, we loose about £100 a week. Before anyone says owt, i am looking for something else.

That’s a new trick for Paul, I’m impressed I wouldn’t have though he could have found away to lower wages anymore.

Was ok when i 1st started JD, used to do a stanley wines for FL, Then a run from doncaster to wednesbury ikea, Run back to Doncaster have night out at Ikea Doncaster.
Used to get £80 for Stanley wines, £70 for wednesbury, and £20 night out.
2 or 3 runs like this a week used to bump wage up.
But he lost work at Ikea. So were only in freightliner now.
He’s had some good lads but everyone’s left or looking to leave.

But i can’t really slag him off cos I’ve only had class 1 for 11month, and he gave me a start with 0 experience, but think its time to start looking again now.

If I’ve got this right. According to many on here it would be a way the Transport Industry financially reward their employees.
“Drivers” would get a wage rise for their skills and knowledge.
“Licence holders” would not.

Of course they will. They want you to give them the moon but when you ask for a wage rise to achieve it…Whooosh! gone…suddenly turned deaf.
Wage and rise are obscene… four-letter-words… to a lot of them.
