got myself an extra £1 a hour. And now when i work weekends i get £13.50 and £16 on bank holidays. not complaining at that.

True…Very True…and I may be treading on toes here…although unintentionally…but that’s where Unions…for those who need them… are of benefit, because contrary to what is said about them there are some pretty well educated and savvy people working in the background sussing out these scams dreamed up by company accountants and lawyers. Pity some working people don’t read and listen to what they are saying instead of heeding to what the Mainstream Media and governments feed them. If they did drivers in particular may well be better off financially and socially.
We got a 3% increase in pay per mile and on hourly pay but as it still leaves our weekly pay bellow the guarantee it makes no difference, they just give drivers less work so we don’t break the weekly minimum.
Pay Cut by 40 % 2,5 Year ago.Had then with 6 Day what i had before with 4 Day.Now the Hour down too
3,6%… Not much, but unexpected. And we still got some nice bonus on Christmas every year.
