Who is stopping smoking

I’ve stopped smoking and that’s because of My mom. I’ve tried many times. I failed every time. I love my mother and I can do anything for her.

Mothers Day Presents

I failed after almost 4 years off them . I had a couple of very bad weeks and a cig calmed me down over christmas, then I managed to limit myself to 10 per week. I am now back to 10 a day plus whatever a “non smoker” can beg.

I am ashamed, feel crap for it and wish I had never tried one on Christmas day 2010 :open_mouth:

(This is only a sugestion), Just think posative, & be Determined if you realy want to give up. Why not try again starting on the first day of next month & make it no smoking from that day on !!, & clear out all ■■■■ & ■■■ related items in total & focus on other things instead. You managed nearly four years off them - credit to you, & well done. So you see you have got the willpower to give up

No need to feel ashamed you had a moment of high stress you were able to do it before you can succeed again. You had the will to quit before you can find that again.

The moment I found out I was pregnant I stopped tossed the cigarettes I had got rid of the ashtrays. There are times I really really really get the urge to have one but I just find something to keep my hands and my mind busy until that feeling goes away. Find your reason to quit everyone has one, for me mine is Selena I want her to be healthy when I see her for the first fime.

Ive started using one of those electric cigs, and i havnt touched a real cig for 3 days now,it still gives you nicotine, but none of the harsh chemicals that you find in cigs, ill keep you updated as to how its going

My mate has just bought one of those kits as he isn’t allowed to smoke at work, he reckons they are the dogs ■■■■■■■■ and it always gets someone chuntering when he takes it out in the pub, especially if he blows “smoke” in their face

Although he did try to light it one night :open_mouth:

I am not allowed to smoke at my friends house in the Isle of Man, so that will be the time to aim for quitting again

I have smoked for 15 years now and I’ve not had a ■■■ now for 37 days. I used patches and got one of those inhalators.

I never used the inhalator I just put the cartridge between my smoking fingers whilst driving to make it feel like I was holding a cig.

I no longer use patches and don’t have cravings.

I also had a pack of ■■■■ with me at all times to test myself as well as letting a passenger smoke in the cab. I passed all tests.

Next test is to go out on the beer and see how I get on.

Good luck to anyone who is trying to quit.

A week now and not touched one, these e-ciggs are the mutts nuts, but dont smoke them like a real ciggy, just take a couple of drags when you feel the need,im quietly confident this will help me quit fingers crossed
