It only holds about 8 artics on, don’t bother paying and you will get a wake up call when the first inter city to London rumbles over your head about 4:30 in the morning( it’s directly under Wakefield Westgate train station)

I remember one driver reversing up to the wall that backed on to mercedes dealer and hit the wall knocking it down over one of the cars

If you come out of Speedibake, turn left at the roundabout you’ll spot it straight in front of you as you are sat at the permanently red traffic lights.

We have to go down Chald lane(I think it’s called) which is the stores part of speedibake,a bit tight when cars are parked down there.Awful place to goto.

To be honest I thought it might end up like this because the council put new bins all round the estate but the rubbish never went in them and some areas are left in a right mess

Think it’s just the main drag in front of Morrisons, YPO and Coca cola. The side roads up to UPS and Jenkar and Fox’s are still going to be ok.

I’m not surprised either, standing near the sandwich van some mornings you could throw up with the stink from along the footpath. The cops (who are on there anyway) should have started catching people littering etc.

Or even the truck park at the bottom of westgate in wakey if you fancy a night on the town…had many a good night there all stopped though because I only live two mile away and the mrs passed in her car and rang me " where are you parked tonight darling" she asked “I said some industrial estate in Dunstable going to bed soon” that was it “WEll WHYS YOUR [zb] TRUCK PARKED IN WAKEY THEN YOU LYING [zb]”, had some good nights there was a few Dutch lads used to park there and we would all go up town.

Always parked the unit up there after dropping the trailer off in Lawsons with the backload on from Sanquar tiles. Great nights up Westgate once went on the lash with an Irish lad, we went to one of the rough pubs near the church, 2 of Wakeys finest (slappers) at the bar and he tried it on with both of them. I decided to go back to the truck and about an hour later I was awoken by moaning and laughing. I opened my n/s curtain to have my eyes filled with the sight of one of the slappers with her knickers around her ankles, legs wrapped around the irsh fellas arse and his arse going up and down like a bees wing!

Used to see your lads regularly in Sanquhar tiles when I was on for seafields !
Wakey lorry park was alright, if you wanted a night on the lash & a curry on the way back, whitwood was good in the 90s when the 2 ex drivers ran it, but as soon as they let exelby in then it started going down hill.
Can’t fault the stockyard, good clean showers, top carvery & a decent bar !
But the redbeck is definitely worth a visit too…

At the min yes but they will probably ban it on the whole estate. Here the burger van is guna move to grandstand road
