Stockyard by about 1000 miles fella great food clean loos etc warm and friendly, good parking all (90%) tarmac’d anyway

Stockyard every time mate one of the best places there is in the uk.
Whitwood I won’t even fill up with diesel there now rude staff dirty cafe and just a horrible place.

I remember when the two guys owned whitwood truckstop. First time I went in I got a free
CuP of tea. And it was clean.
I should be in stockyard for about 11am white volvo

Would rather go to ferrybridge svs than whitwood, been a while since been in stockyard but it was always grand nosh in there, if a mind right wasnt thurs night grab a gran night at the stockyard
Just to add the stockyard would be my first choice

Stockyard the best.Even near the motorway, you do not notice the traffic noise.Locals use it.Lots of nice ladies of all shapes and sizes.Good atmosphere.Good food.Friendly staff.Huge showers.Snap too.

Yes good place that, never shuts at all that place bit of an institution in wakey the redbeck

Aye wakey I can remember that far back,it was good then,nothing else round it and if you overnighted stuart used to run you down the pub in his car and pick you up later.Ive been retired many yrs and I cant believe its sunk so low.

Problem is it’s got that bad now I don’t think it will ever get good again.
But thing is it seems to be full on a night so some drivers must like arrogant staff and dirty toilets and crap food.
When I used to run out of time around that area I always went on the normanton ind est on other side of M62 and went in the club and got a Chinese,mush better than paying that hovel my money.

if ur heading north exit J1 turn right a361 towards the est

round about 1st exit ( left ) just follow the road round the bends through the est and you think your heading out to the countryside … Stockyard on your left.

Stockyard every time. Nice food, good showers, and only 10.50 to park with a 2 quid voucher
