I did look at Kettering for a while , but think South Leicestershire is ideal. Also isn’t Corby going to breaknaway with the Jocks ?

i live in a south leicestershire village,one that hasn’t been mentioned yet.i’m from the south coast originally,and would like to move back there come retirement.work-wise,this is a great place to live,usually loads of available work about,so i’d recommend this area.

Corby is better than it was 20 years ago. New station, town centres been revamped, more jobs now. Some roughish areas, Exeter estate, Beanfield.

Nothing wrong with Northampton, just nothing to commend it really.
