So some of you are away tramping. You spend all this money on a car that’s left for most of the week standing in a car park. I reckon the bloke with the old Toyota is the sensible one.
if you’re talking about me with the 20+ yr old Toyota I’m sorry to disappoint as here’s a pic of it [emoji6]
This was the last car I owned
Yes, but what do you drive now?
What was it anyway?
I now get the bus and it was a Hyundai Sonata
I used to drive a large automatic Honda Accord, but it was ready for a timing belt and also had high mileage so reluctantly got rid and now have a smaller car with much improved MPG!
got me this for €900, '02 Citroen C8 diesel , doesn’t run yet

Jeez, that’s expensive considering it doesn’t run. That’s a £200 car in the UK. Probably explains why you see hundreds of UK plate cars heading East through Europe, some under their own steam and many more being transported.
yup, there’s not much second-hand market for rhd cars so that’s why the prices are so low. a running C8 in decent condition is upwards €2500 around here.
So just sold my pride and joy! Had no problems what so ever, just make sure you give them enough stick and they will last a long time toyosport de cat and cat back, and let her rev! Nothing better than a two nice big flames lighting up the road behind you when she’s singing away… And then there’s my baby! Not going anywhere! And cruising in a mondeo tdci 130 until another decent rx8 or focus mk1 RS comes along somewhere around here!

There’s nothing like a rotary engine, I had a Series 2 (1st gen) RX7, it was great fun, always wanted a 2nd gen turbo convertible, but they went silly money when I was about to buy
citroen berlingo van as a daily driver.
A honda CBF600 and the best selling bike in the world HONDA C90, which i mainly use for charity rides

Certainly isn’t! Would love an RX7, but as you say, silly money and I wouldn’t want to use it as a fun runaround as I wouldn’t be able to stop spending on it! I found the rx8 a proper drivers car if you drive it as it was designed, just a shame that so many people never took the time to find out more about the rotary engines before buying one and plodding along in 6th at 45mph
