This is one I try to borrow when my girlfriend isn’t looking
Why do so many cover the number plate to post on a forum , I bet they don’t drive round with them covered up ?

Because sadly lowlifes exist who clone number plates to use on stolen cars and fuel thefts. Also, personal details can be gained via the DVLA so of a thief fancys a car you’ve put a picture up of they can find out where it’s likely to be kept.
I believe there was a Stobart program before the trucks and trailers series that showed William Stobart prancing around in his Range Rover Sport showing off his personalised plate. He was promptly robbed not too long after and there was suspicion the two could be connected.

If I drove a Rover I’d like to be anonymous.
well it might be easier to stand on a corner and write down the numbers of cars that are “interesting” the fears some people have

the more popular one would be as follows… put someone elses plates onto your own car.(or the one you’ve nicked)…theres no tax disc now to read and see the different registration numbers (thankyou dvla in your infinite wisdom) and hey presto, all your parking tickets and speed camera fines go to the lucky Herbert with the legit car.if plod run the plate whilst behind you etc, then itl show legit as the correct details, I know the vins on the dash, but anyone looking that close will be plod and by that time its too late, unless you’ve already legged it.
Daf95XF, is that your home!? Lovely place. I’m in the wrong job

No, the yellow one was taken by my landlady who borrowed the car when me and the girlfriend went away for 2 weeks, my blue one is where I live
Daily drive is a 330xi
first 4wd I owned, effective in the winter but I actually miss RWD a bit, more fun throwing the back around. You have to drive seriously fast when playing around to get to the same fun level in the 4wd as rwd. On the other hand it’s days more fun with the 37/63 drive line than ex audis 50/50
Here with winter wheels
Rover 75 Connoisseur 2.0 litre diesel which replaced the Rover 825 Sterling on the right, which I owned for eight years.
To be honest, I preferred the old one but it needed too much work doing, I sold it to a restorer who owns three of them already, it’s still going.
This is one of mine that I have been trying to sell for ages, now my usual wheels is a 2010 Passat 2 ltr diesel with all the boys toys

rover 75 t/d…best value for money quality car you could possibly buy…vastly underrated, and the owners club cant say a bad word about them. if you get fedup with it just kick the bumper and crack it…instant writeoff as theres no more new bumpers available… ive bought about 6 on vcar with no more damage than that…

This is one of the few cars that I always fancied but never actually owned

Plenty of bumpers available, Rimmer Bros (waaay expensive), scrap yards and as happened to me when my ZT got written and the garage did the inspection, told they actually have a bumper sitting around they could use (before it was deemed a write off)…
Just got to know where to look

Well, nows your chance to buy a good’un for next to nowt. Since I bought that ‘thing’ i have spent over £6300 bringing it up to the standard it is now, not that’s what I intended to do at all. If I could get back about £1200 of it I would be very surprised, as it aint worth much more if that!!!
