Hi Graham The Scania was supplied by Telford Trucks Cardiff new to a owner driver. I dont know his name. Derek Brick Knighton had it for a few years. DAad bought it in 1994 and ran it until he retired. Thanks Merfyn

There used to be quite a few firms in this area running GMC lime spreaders in the 1950’s and 60’s.The last one I remember was Sam Radford from Diddlebury near Craven Arms who was still running his in 1970.Could be the same one seen here.

I can tell by the width of the Grille that this motor is what the badge says Dave!!! You arnt’ going to catch me out to-day!! Cracking motor and a nice shot.Did it have power steering by any chance!!! Cheers Dennis.
