Was this you Carryfast, on the hub run?

He’s got it all crossed up, trying to back it out. :joy:

Looks like what happens when you give a hub system artic driver a proper night’s trunk run with a proper wagon.Fell asleep, woke up in the ditch, reverted to artic mode trying to back it out.
Case closed.
I’ve been promoted to wrecker driver I’m working out whether it needs 4 or 5 TIR plates or none.

You will need a Carnet, CF.

Can you imagine Carryfast driving a tow truck with his minimal experience and none on a tow truck?
He’d arrive back at the yard (providing it wasn’t a 15 speed RoadRanger), dragging nothing but the bumper of the stricken vehicle. :joy:

Lol who tf do you think you are.

Have to admit that made me laugh.Probably a good way of handing in my resignation I didn’t I really want the job.
Look on the bright side if I had been driving the wagon and drag it wouldn’t have ended up in the ditch and if it did I could have backed it out in a straight line.
But 6x2 not 6x4 all bets are off in that regard anyway unfortunately.
So the moral of the story is really need a driver who can keep it out of the ditch.
Or a 6x4 prime mover with a driver who knows how to reverse it instinctively even when half asleep.

An insight into the parallel universe of Carryfast. A universe where Carryfast the Perfect cannot make a mistake, where getting the flick morphs into handing in his resignation and basic truck driving skills become feats of impossibility, only ever performed by him, using his super powers. :joy:
Talk about a fantasy world, where a safe driving award is akin to a VC and a certificate of attendance becomes the equivalent of the George Cross.
Oh to be so insulated from reality.

I would love to see CF handle the notorious Eaton twin splitter ERF gearbox, a Marmite gearbox with no clutch, you either loved it or hated it.

I tried to teach him how to use one on this thread. He was unteachable. The thread is great on the Twinspitter but the dominant CF content makes grim reading

I don’t know what medication our hero is on but I’ll have a spoonful any day.
He’s brilliant. :joy:

Are these words of wisdom coming from your first hand experience in the last 30 years? :person_shrugging:
Like most of your waffle its just word soup with no substance.

:joy::joy::joy: No danger of that being you then! Considering the only driving job you seem capable of doing is driving cars around the country trade plating.

I will check that out later after I have addressed the nation from The Vatican.

It’s comedy gold, people pay good money for this at the theatre.

That was then, entrusted with driving a 5 axle drawbar outfit, 400 miles per night, 5 nights per week, without ending up in a ditch.
This is obviously now entrusted with driving 6 figure value cars around the country usually without trade plates.

but what about the TIR-plates?

That’s definitely a Carnet load under ATA conditions for an AETR agreement.

You only need those if loading new Skoda’s from the former Yugoslavia.
CF will put you right on this.
