WARNING iPad/iPhone users

Think hard before updating to io6, the new maps are terrible, I’ve just updated my iPad and there are no junction numbers, not a great look, but most importantly no street view !!

The new Apple maps are terribly bad, iOS6 has given Siri a new life, you can now search for buisnesses ect, facebook integration is also good, but yeah MAPS ARE RUINED

If you rely on maps on your iphone dont upgrade

i downloaded this with out lookin into it and i seriously regret it…esp with the maps… they are terrible…

Just a note even Siri isnt working correctly … just asked siri for a prostitute and it reccomended Barretts Shoes …im not even joking !!

Androids rule google maps and they come with sat Nav, and the apps are better.

I love my Nokia Lumia…

heard on radio that some place in the midlands was now 8 mile away from where it should be and anouther place doesnt exist anymore.

I’ve kind of given up downloading/syncing my ipad/iphone since I had an ipod touch and after it had updated it wouldn’t download podcasts any more by wifi.

Same here… just wish there were more apps for windows - and the battery didnt die every 12 hours !

Try using an app called live street view. Downloaded it yesterday. It seems ok

Yeah, whatever you do don’t download io6!!!

It’s rumoured that google has submitted their maps app to apple for approval. Will be interesting to see if they do allow it! Hope they will as the satellite map of my area is pointless

Indeed so. I usually turn on battery saver if I know I’m away from power for a long while. But generally it’s a brilliant phone in my opinion and I’m very pleased I jumped ship from the iPhone.

Too late my i phone 5 arrives today. Don’t use the maps though so no probs there.

I just read the email from pocketGPSworld on this subject

I knew the Iphone 5 was popular but didn’t realise the queue was that long…the staff must of had sore hands with all that high fiving! Coat, hat, taxi…

i was just about to update mine but funny enough have decided not to bother.

I think i will stick to my Samsung

I have been more that happy with my iphone 4s, but as I use Google maps and street view a lot I will not download new system.
One of the reasons I got an apple was for maps and street view which I use a lot, if this is no longer available will I be able to opt out of my contract?

I bet I can’t…
