I remember seeing those stock wagons around, used to visit a lot of abbatoirs in those days and they would bring it in the beasts at one end and we would take out the snot from the other end :wink:

The orange F89 is from Oryx freight ! Big Middle East haulier, Truck magazine did center spread poster of one of Oryx 89s, battling through the sand in the desert, quite a good arty poster, had it on my bedroom wall !
Not sure about the green 88

Look at around 16 mins in…and yes ex Dawson’s, E dwin Shirley motor…love the filming on the bunk as R on nice can’t drive the 88!!!

it was indeed a Dawson Rental motor…it was briefly hired to Delanair in Barking…it was parked outside a House in Barkingside when this episode aired,the driver who had it at the time was very surprised to see it
