p.s as seen in The Turkish Republic of North Cyprus in 2006/2007i think these pics have been posted before, but its still not the same motor! stripes above cab, colour of sunvisor, and lack of a tag axle!
someone else on here asked me if the truck i drove came from Devon area(?) as the stripes/paintwork were almost identical. It didnt, but that motor may be the one that you saw in Cyprus, now, if i can only remeber who it was who asked me about the Devon motor we may all get an answer!
i think the photo of the f16 is your old one minus the tag axle . look at the step under the battery box. the devon firm was georges haulage he never had a f16 i work with his son mattew at m .way transport. the only globetrotters george had was fh’s .
the one i had had a stack, and a red not blue sunvisor (easily damaged and changed i suppose), and there are 4 red stripes above the doors on the Turkish one, and on mine there are loads of thin blue ones surrounded by a red one. And mine had white pinstripes around the corner deflectors (again easily repained due to damage etc.) i would love it to be my old one thou, i just dont think it is…

truckfestI think this was Big Hearted Brian the Beast from Chequers Lane area- good old mate of mine, used to see him in Portugal a lot.

truckfestThis Globby ended up with Les. When Nedu packed up they gave/sold the truck to Les who was driving for them. He picked a load of groupage up in Holland got busted in Harwich with drugs in the load. Spent time Norwich jail & was freed 6 months later with all charges being dropped. He lost the truck,his house,& his wife.
I remember Les (shame this has happend to him), i workt for NEDU Holland in the last year.
Never heard from eny one sinds.
I’m looking for NEDU pictures, some one? ,regards Jan Planken.
Last I heard of Les he was on for Visbeen.

That’s a very good F16…I drove it a few years back…it wouldn’t take a huge amount of work to transform it into condition A
I like this not over the top, just very smart
