Volvo F10,F12,F16

A guy called Alan Tyson from Tealby-Lincolnshire ran some tidy F12s at one time, I only have pictures of one though.

The last one he ran before he got FH’s was in HTL’s colours, not as nice as the yellow ones.

One of J B Wheatons F12s, how smart is this…

One of GillardsF12s,

The F10/F12s I have operated all real good trucks not like the trucks being built now.

what a cracking thread! when i was growing up these were the trucks i wanted to drive!!!

a few pics i took last month of some still hard at work in greece

Colin, your F16 was that an old MFP motor?

Could well have been. I think someone said before where it came from. I know frank bought it at a good price and i think it had been a repo motor. The only problem we had at least once every six months was the voltage regulator on the alternator had to be replaced , other than that it was a very good truck for me to drive

Was it on an “F” plate ? Colour scheme + ex repo = ex Mfp.Went back with the Magnums

A repainted Bass Charringtons F10

A flying machine F12 385…until the gearbox gave out, useless SR70 boxes.

The Dogs Doo Dahs, Numero Uno!

Last one I bought, only one foto i have of it and ironically i took it only 45 km from where i live now.

Does anyone know of its whereabouts? I think Gilders may have had a hand in its resale.

Gazza, a mate of mine drove Viking Roller subing to Ralph Davies, I am sure it belonged to a woman called Sonia, who lived in southhampton I think.

Gazza, I have been thinking :bulb: ,Sonia was married to Gary, so you must of been my mates boss. His name is Dave Mitchell (Wax)have I got the right one. Thanks Chris.

The person that owmed all four of those trucks pictured was Gazzer who at the time was married to Sonia and they lived in the Southampton area and I used to work for them. You are right that a guy named Waxy used to drive the Viking Roller subbing to Ralph Davies.Regards Todd

Eloquently put toddmck! And 100% correct. Wax worked for me, not sure if he drove one of the others first before I got the “Roller”, Todd would know. Sonya and I parted, Wax continued driving it for her for a while before he went taxying.

If you are still incontact with him chrisb, say hello from me and Todd.

Rocky (Ex RD) drove the white F12. Cant remember his real name!!!
