i’m trying to get some old pictures of van himst … My dad’s retiring in 3 years and i’m trying to make a powerpoint for him .

a few of FJL Chantry’s fleet in Hook, Goole - my best mate’s dad was the mechanic there and we used to look after the wagons after school and on holidays and even took them to Pickering truck show a couple of years
loading a flat-top F10 at Maxi Haulage in Ayr I think - we went there and back in a day one Saturday!
this is the same F10 after it had been painted - A289 RGB - it was mostly used on local work and shunting
and here it is again at Pickering truck show

i found a few … me and my brother are gonna scan some pics and post them in a few weeks . It are pics of my dad’s trucks of van Himst when he drove for Hauser (F16’s and F12’s) and some of my brother when he drove for meadows , Danzas and frans maas . We’ve searched at the attick and there are quitte a few . I think the quality’s gonna ■■■■ … but the pictures are nice . Some are polaroids so i dont now what the quality will be when we scan them …

he started on a 142 i think . My brother drove a 1935 mercedes when he started . Just for a little while … 
My father was owner driver before GVH pulling trailers for him for Danzas . The company was Nieuwborg transport … We’re looking for pictures of that company to . .
