Hopefully not broken down in to parts and on a container or ferry the night it was nicked.Saying this due to rise in tractor theft,2 tractors were stolen and traced to Poland and were found 700 miles apart,by tracing serial numbers.Police told me,nick a tractor, put on a curtain sider,on ship same night before the farmer raises alarm in the morning,by that time, the thief can go a far way in to europe, hope you find it soon.Hope cops log details in to port security.

Just posted the details on the PDA’s website.

Bumped on the other site Tappy
where was it stolen from ( what layby)
how much fuel did you have ■■? I ask as this would have some relation as to if they need fuel and where they’ll get to before needing some

Trunking nights I’ll keep an eye out on my route … I’ll pop in the 2 service areas i use and have a gander.

was in colchester had a look on severalls industrial estate no joy hope you get it back soon and its ok

Hope you find it very soon Tappy, will keep an eye out for it.

Have I got this right? Tappy,s name is in the window. We haven,t been told this yet, but it would seem that the driver (presumably Tappy), left the vehicle unattended in a layby, at the side of a road in Essex., at 8/30 pm. Spent the night somewhere else. Came back at 0430, and found that the vehicle had gone. Did the trailer with the two ginormous boxes on go as well? When was the picture taken, and Why??.If the vehicle, with or without the trailer is not found, I would not like to be the person filling in the insurance claim. The first thing that they will be asking is, Where was the driver? Good Luck Tappy. I sincerely hope that you get it back.

Mickey Blue, who if i am correct is a PCSO, states in his post, “these people are thick”,. Yeah! Right on there Officer. They grab a vehicle, possibly complete with trailer loaded with 2 great boxes, and disappear; As yet the outfit has not been traced. It is now possibly sitting at Frankfurt-en-Oder waiting to go to its new home in Poland, Rumania, or Bulgaria. Thick?? I don,t think so.

A PCSO?

Don’t get me started on PCSOs, or should I say CHIMPS.

Completely
Hopeless
In
Most
Policing
Situations.

I wondered that myself but then I would probably have done the same and filed it under interesting loads.

were the contents of the boxes valuable ?

Might be way off…

But…

At a guess it was stolen for the trailer, Extendable Low Loaders are rare and aint cheap are they… There are plenty of 124 Flat Top Scanias to nick, and plenty of Large Wooden Crates…

Hope you it gets foud soon mate…

Kept me eye out for it today but no luck, ill try again tomorrow

I’ll keep eyes peeled in Essex, it’s quite distinctive I saw it a week or so back I’m sure. Not holding out much hope though.

Just a thought. :bulb: :bulb: If Tappy comes back on, or if anyone knows how to get in touch with him; ask him if he got any details off that waggon parked in front of him. It is parked well over, onto the kerb, as if it is there for the night. They might have seen/heard something. If he has the number, or if it can be deciphered from that photograph, our wonderful plod should be able to trace it. :bulb: :bulb:

Tappy does not seem to have been on since about 10am (our time) .He,s probably had a harassing day, with plod/boss/ insurance over this. It might even have turned up, possibly at the nearest Travellers Site.
Fingers X,d for him anyway.

il keep my eyes out down here tappy i know what those theiving exporters are like down here

sorry to hear this hope you find it tappy mate

some people need to read before asking silly questions it clearly states that the pictures were taken last night and the truck was stolen from same place as pictures were taken  :unamused:

Be a bit of a beggar if the police decide to book it for being illegally parked aswell :unamused: … unless ofcourse it was lit during the hours of darkness, seeing as it was on part of the highway.
