They certainly didnt hang about in cutting the old girl up did they, and thieves couldnt care less about how polite they are in cutting a stolen vehicle up, all they wanted was the engine and gearbox, which is ready cash to them, and there is a demand for those kind of spare parts. No doubt if it could have been hidden away, say in a warehouse, then they would have been more careful as there would have been more money to be made from the rst of the bits.
At the end of the day, it s a ten year old vehicle, insured, but will never achieve its true value with regards to the insurance pay out, which is only current market value, and goes to pentalvers anyway. The driver is safe, has moved on, and will no doubt cherish his next ride, and thieves will be thieves, they will carry on doing what they do best, vehicles will continue to be stolen, and thats life, and the society we all live in.

The truck looked [zb] anyway and i like scanias. He wasnt an owner driver so what was all the fuss
Well considering how old this thread is, back in the day people on here were friends and looked out for each other, nowadays it’s only the people you know on here you look out for
Not some diddy who thinks his BMW 320 can do 140
Now can this topic be locked and such as it’s being bumped for no reason
Can you not read thick [zb]? Clearly not as i never said i had a 320!
Tappys truck reg BF52JYN was stolen overnight, between the hours of 8.30pm and 4.30am.

Dare I ask where the driver was?
Dare I say taking a high resolution photo at the rear of the truck?
I’ll keep my eyes peeled though.
I would bet that by now it will look a bit different. The big PENTALVER logo on the front is a dead giveaway.
