it is a toll road indeed, and i have checked the toll road setting. It specifically says there is a 7.5ton limit over there, and navteq maps are fine - they route me through it when checked and divert when i uncheck the toll roads option.
when unchecked Navteq routes me via M25 clockwise to Enfield while Teleatlas routes me through central London
Trog I am with you on that, map corrections are all good but lets face it our satnav was a third of the price of them machines, you get what you pay for I guess and when there is a software update It might get changed. Also trog I received an email with my log in details but a date is not set for the updates yet.
Just to warn you. The screen isnât the strongest and after damaging mine Iâve now managed to completly destroy it. Totally my own fault but you can get a proper case for ÂŁ6 that itâll fit in. Ive just ordered a new one and a case so hopefully I wonât need a 3ed

bad luck mate.
i was thinking about the case as well but at the moment i survive with the protection plastic film the satnav came with.
on a separate note - does anyone know any good alternative satnav mountings? My worry is that i have broken a number of mobile phone car mounts like the one that came with this unit. It always breaks for me where the suction things attaches to the main plastic bit. so any GOOD alternatives?
Roymondo:
That plastic film is only intended to protect against surface scratches and similar marks - It wonât offer any protection against screen breakage!
sorry, i put it incorrectly. itâs not the film on the screen, it is the white plastic bag where the unit rests in the box, see pic
i was driving yesterday in the bloody thing sent me through a 7.5t except for loading limit. Once i was inside the zone it suggested me to leave it immediately
i was using iGo NQ maps and the vehicle was correctly setup to 40 ton. Double-checked today an the same route - still the same
is there any other setting i have missed?
edited to add i saw the sign once i was in the wrong lane on the traffic lights, there was no advanced warning of the limit. For those interested i was travelling from A1 to A405 via A1000, the limit is on A1000 northbound after A504
Came across this today, not heard of it before, looks interesting though (especially if it lives up to all its claims) aguriworld.co.uk/index.php/truc ⌠0-dvr.html anyone any experience of them or considering one themselves?

seems expensive given you have to chose between UK and EU maps

Looks exactly the same as the cheap ÂŁ40 ones on eBay just given the expensive look through a fancy website.
Also donât see the sense in these having cameras fitted if itâs pointing down at the road your not gonna be able to see the sat nav screen and if the sat nav is pointing dead ahead the camera wonât pick up what goes on immediately in front of you because of the cab height.
