Only negative is there was someone used to post on here who leased one and when it come to the end he decided not to replace it and I’ve come really kicked him up the nuts for damage.
He come across as a guy who looked after the kit but you never know. Might be worth speaking to a few people running them about the local dealer etc.
Mind you as your from norn iron I thought there was a by law you had to run a tang spec v8 scania

My mate does R620/R580x2.
His wife is a qualified accountant and guess what she’s telling him ref the Iveco deal??
He pays £450wk for the Scanny’s,
SERIOUS savings for 3 Iveco and offer the drivers extra £50 to drive the Stralis.
Bob’s your Uncles half brother twice removed!!![emoji106]

Is there a down payment ad I see merchandise offer used actros for 299 a week but there’s 10k down first.
Don’t quote me but no AFAIA there’s no down payment,
this 3yr lease deal is being financed DIRECT by Iveco in Italy to shift the Stralis in UK according to NI salesman! !!![emoji106]

If I was in a position to start subbing, I’d snap his hand off.

Harry Monk:
Volvo are doing 12-month contract hire deals with 160kms mileage on 460 FH4s for £375 per week with full R&M at the moment, if I did replace my truck this year that would probably be what I went for.
Harry, it looked like a nice deal for me 2 but it’s not what it seems at first glance ! When I was told what deposit I got to pay upfront and some more details like youre taxing the vehicle for 12 months and they want u to pay tax upfront for 12 months and £1200 is added to ur 3 months deposit and then tyres and all maintenance is down to u and there no courtesy vehicle in case something goes wrong with ur one also at the end of ur hire contract they take vehicle for examine and they charge u for wear in the cab even for lil things like uve left the floor mat lil worn and so on… then I reminded myself the Renault offer was 100 times better for a T460 unit !
Volvo dealer is good only if you want to buy an used truck from them. Ive had really nice offers for a HF13 500 2011 - 2012 at fair prices !
We’ve just ordered a T 460. We have been Scania people and asked Scania for a price, they said oh yes, we remember you, well come back to you. And never did. Renault sales guy was round with a brochure and when did I want a demo for a week. Half muttered about the big cab LHD as we do Euro work an the offer was made to go down to Warwick for the day and take that demonstrator out.
That pretty much clinched it and then the absolute winning argument was the lads all said they weren’t bothered if it was Scania as the Renault was spot on.
So I’ve no idea what the price for the Scania was, but I’m sure the Renault was cheaper.
We buy outright, not heavy miles so keep them a good few years and don’t do R&M as I always feel the servicing is not as good when you pay the bill.
