Mr B:
If it is not you are not installing eveything correctly.
agreed, so far i’ve installed it on several tomtoms (5■■, 7■■ and 9■■)without problem but i still can’t get it to work on my spare one xl, it’s doing my head in!!!
What is the problem?
Does it switch on?

the navcore installs ok on a 2gb sd card but the map won’t unlock all i get is the red screen and message saying i can’t use this map. i’m doing it exactly the same way as all the others i’ve done for friends at work.

If it does not PM me your device id and I will try and patch a map file for you.
Also have you made sure the map folder name is correct and stored in the root folder of your sd card?
And have you tried installing navcore and ttsystem file to your tomtom memory and the maps to the sd card?

I had this problem using the old map patcher - I found this other map keygen/patcher and this worked fine.
Hi, im new on here but i have just followed the instructions for navcor truck and i have just installed it on sd card for a go 500 and as far as i can see it all works. on holiday this week but will try next week and let you know.
I’m having big problems here.
I have a TomTom 920 that I bought with the Trucking maps and algorithm’s a long while back but it’s getting on a bit and the battery lasts about 2 minutes. I bought a new 920 without the Trucking maps, but I’m buggered if I can get the truck maps on it.
I downloaded the New truck maps and Navcore but how do I get them on my new TT? I tried C&P but it came up with not enough space so I deleted the hard drive and tried again, it then comes up with the red screen of death saying you can’t use these Maps or saying there is no Maps on the device.
I should have found an extra £60 and bought the Truck model but I just ain’t got that kind of money.

I did over 2 weeks ago. I’m afraid it all that went way over my head. I followed link after link and downloaded so much stuff it was a joke.
gezt:
i just got the new version
follow each link in tendrivers post i.e
navcore and maps and the easyusetools
good luck
Well done
I’m just C&Ping everything now onto my TT920. The way I read it is all I need to do to transfer this to another TT920 is change the ID number in the folder, is that how you read it?
The navcore should copy to any (go?) device without problem as its an SE version. To get the map to work you need to crack it for each individual device. So keep a clean copy of it somewhere safe on your computer and when you need it, copy it to your device/sd card, edit the device ID text file for the appropriate device code, copy the meta, tmeta & pna files from the map folder to the “insert_meta_from_Map_here” folder then execute “runmeforDCT”. Copy the two generated DCT files dumped in the “insert_meta_from_Map_here” to your map folder on your device/sd card and your done.
Make sure you are using the version of easyusetools that can cope with the double DCT thing - which I’m sure you’ve read about on IPmart & elsewhere.
Thats how it reads to me at any rate if I were to bother doing it…
Just got my new Philips Truckers Atlas and it blows TomToms out the water and doesn’t require all that fuss. Nor do you have to shout at it when its wrong - again

no each time you put it on another unit you have to do the whole thing afresh, as said keep a clean untouched copy on file for that purpose
theres a new navcore and map available, it’s from the latest tt9000. the map covers all of east and west europe. i don’t much like the new navcore though on my tt720 it seem a bit slow so i’m using the new map with old truck navcore and it seems to work perfectly well.
