it’s very simple to do and works well on my 720.Is their an option to change the vehicle dimensions on yours? Cos I entered the dimensions at the begining and now cant find the option to change
Yes scroll through the settings until you come across a truck icon all the settings are there.

have not got that option so does not work on my tomtom.
well ive tried it on my ttonev8 and it doesnt avoid bridges as it should do due to me not haveing the work map

On XL I have planning prefrences.
Two choices, never use IQ routes for trucks.
Change vehicle profile, but it just throws you back to main screen when choosing this.
No truck symbol.

same on mine. must only work on the x30’s and x20’s

What tom tom do you have if its xl hang on as I am still trying to get it to work.
Tom tom home wont work with it.
If you are going to try it.
Make a back up
Connect device.
Go to where you saved files and copy them all.
Go to my computer.
Find icon.
Right click, explore.
Right click, paste.
choose yes to all.

copy and paste the file to the root of your tomtom
this will only give you extra menu options and maybe slightly different routing you need a specific map for it to work properly

I wouldn’t bother with that until you have the correct map to go with it.
