Make sure you back up everything first just in case. Then just copy everything to the root directory. Dont have to delete everything, just replace if it asks you. Tell us if it works

it seems to be working perfectly, not sure if i’ve got all the vehicle settings right yet but i’ve put in my job for tomorrow and isn’t routing me through any villages, in fact it’s taking me the way i always go!!! lol.

Do you enter you vehicle details height etc at the begining at it finds a route avoiding low bridges etc?

yes it goes thru height,14’6, speed 54,length 60ft, width9ft, weight44t, axle weight 7.3t, i’m going to have to check the dimensions are right and that it’s asking for imperial and not metric

I think it only works on the x20’s and x30’s.

You could try it but make sure you back up your tomtom first. Please post if you try and it works

As a result, the download and installation is done at your own risk, knowing that it is normally possible to go back by copying a complete backup (done by copying the contents of the GPS to your PC via the 'file explorer), it is not absolute certainty, and secondly in case of problems you may lose the guarantee for your TomTom device. Continue only if you measure the risks associated with the use of beta NavCore versions.

How to install
After downloading the. Cab file you can open it with a program like WinRAR and unpack the contents on your computer (NOT TO YOU TOMTOM) and then transfer the contents to the root of your GPS with a copy / paste that replace the old files.

Dont try the top one on xl.

In a panic now waiting to see if it restores. :laughing:

Not even trying the bottom one if it comes back to life.

i’d try it with x20 but make sure you do full back up incase it doesn’t.
it’s very simple to do and works well on my 720.

Is their an option to change the vehicle dimensions on yours? Cos I entered the dimensions at the begining and now cant find the option to change

It knackered my xl, cou;dn`t get anything but pic of sat nav so did a restore and it has now started working with the truck updates installed.

It seems its o/k to install on xl but be prepared for a nervous wait.

Will need to use my garmin in the car now though if it only gives me truck routes.

Never use IQ routes, whats an IQ route.

I have also made a baws of weight , height and lentgh. Do I just reset it for that.
