The sheeting system stuck halfway over is very modern to be fitted on an A reg; Unless it was retro-fitted to a long serving wagon.
I always wanted the EC11 Smiths ran; Request fell on deaf ears and then it was a casualty of the recession and got sold off.
I drove this wagon on it’s last load for Smiths.
Dixs’ of Stanton Harcourt; Their quarry was taken over by Ameys and the still operating landfill is still known as “Dixs pit”.

Hi Nathan,
The firm I drove for had a Dodge Kew six wheeler with a trailing axle. That one in the pic looks a bit longer wheelbase.
Cheers Dave.

Really depends on who you work for. We’ve had a change of planner and with work busy it’s a bit push push at the moment (much like many operators) but there are still a few old time companies about; Tuckwells (who own Oxford Sand and Gravel and Tuckmix Concrete) are very relaxed and still do things the old fashioned way. Dave the Renegade knows what the Weksh border operators are like…

Was this the one where the cooker blew up in it? The late Eddie Harrison told me about a Daf that this had happened to.

Look a bit closer Muckaway, you’ll see what you thought looked like an easysheet half over is more likely an old body with the tailboard missing dumped inside the body of the F7. To my knowledge Cullimores never had a sheet system resembling an easysheet or a Dawbarn, all there’s are pullover/rollover sheets which don’t leave the bulkheads.
BB
I think you’re right BB I did wonder if it was some type of scrap that’d been dumped in there but couldn’t make out what it was.

Anyone got any Huntsman pics?
Stx, have you heard about the young fitter for Priors that moved an F88 that was to be sol, only to take the door off?
I’ve got a few Huntsmans that I took last summer on a quick visit for work – a mixer and a couple of site only vehicles

Now there is a lorry that is begging to be recreated !
Do Cullimores still have their graveyard of old vehicles?
New member Puckshole would be the one to answer that; He drives one of their last Fodens…
