This is movie made by my friend - he got full amount of the penalty points, so he records everything just in case.
This was in the 30 km/h zone. He was signaling and checked his mirror when he was turning left.
Motorbiker got up and demanded my friend a statement that he’s guilty (quote:) “because he wasn’t paying enough attention for motorbikers and motorbikes are everywhere”. (motorbikes are everywhere is the Polish equivalent of "Think Bike).
With all my respect to motorbikers, they MIGHT be everywhere, but he definitely should not be THERE at this very moment…
My friend did nothing wrong, yet he has his car damaged and he has to go to court (as the Police, which was called to the accident offered him a penalty for “causing an accident”).
The motorbiker broke law in several places: he was driving much faster than legal 30 km/h limit, he was overtaking on the junction, he was overtaking car signalling left turn and he was overtaking just before pedestrian crossing…
I have no problem with motorbikers who drive legally and I am always looking for them. But if some idiot suddenly pops out of nowhere doing twice the legal limit - that was his job to think. And he obviously failed…
I think this propaganda (think bike!, motorbikes are everywhere) is encouraging motorbikers to think that WE are respobsible for THEIR lives…
At the end of the day we are covered by layers of steel while they take all the impact onto their bodies… Bikers! Think about that!

Perhaps your friend needs his eyes testing then?
I get the impression that this entire “accident” was staged, personally. All seems a bit too coincidental to me : camera recording everything and oh what’s this? A bike coming along! Ah, there’s a handy turning here that I can get him to crash into me on and then sue him for £1000s from the video evidence.
Means nothing that video you cant see the car driver signalling his intentions to turn, (if he did) I tend to find motorcyclist on the whole dont try to commit suicide. My first reaction is why would ANYONE want to video their driving journeys. Is your friend intimating that the “full amount of penalty points” have all been collected incorrectly ?
2 things here:
I think these in car camera’s are a great thing, I’m still looking for a good one myself, when I was a couple of weeks back in de States I realised how many people had one on their back window.
Will be the new thing to reduce your premium, to many clumsy idiots on the road.
no 2
He drives on the right, in a left hand car, change direction, and change lane without due care and attention, GUILTY my lord.
This problem happens a lot people don’t look over their shoulder before turning.
You learn on the continent, when turning left: Outside mirror, inside mirror, indicate, inside mirror, look over your left shoulder, outside mirror and turn.
As a biker myself, I must say I notice bikers coming up to a car in the blind angle and pulling out on the last inch.
But your friend could only have proved this if he had a rear viewing camera.
Gaz:
Difficult to tell with that vid to be honest?!
One thing that does wind me up is the selfish bikers with their lights on main beam!!!
They get a full on main beam back in the face off me for as long as the come at me with theirs on!!!
A lot if the newer bikes have the lights on permanently and you can’t turn them off if you want to, so there’s not much we can do about it is there?
Nobody speaks about lights on, because that should be law, but main or dipped beam seems to be different.
I don’t believe one second that you cannot switch the main beam off on yer bike
I had the exact same thing happen to me in cardiff, I can recall the date exactly as I had my daughter in the car who was 11 days old.
I was turning right nobody there, then a split second later a motorbiker was flying over my boot!!! on the floor he was all apologetic saying he didnt see my indicator etc etc… 3 days later a letter off his insurance saying I was driving without due care and attention!!!
One extremely long letter from myself pointing out all the wrong doings of the biker and guess what?? I didnt pay a penny.
So i can sympathise with this video owner (if indeed it’s genuine!!)
If your telling me that your bike does, tell me the make and model and i will personally tell the manufacturer.
Dipped headlight is fine if you must, but main beam is pure selfishness. All this “Be seen Be safe” is fine, but not at the expense of other road users! What if a wagon drove on main beam all day with the attitude of “It makes me more vizible”? It’s pure selfishness, plain and simple.
To me bikers with main beam on belong in the same police car as chavs in saxo’s with fog lights on!
Cruisers are even worse, with those stupid fog light things either side of the headlight.
And before i get abuse i have no issue with bikers at all, many friends and family are bikers, i even attend a few biker rallys and the like.
Wait a second, maybe I got this wrong because I’m Johnny Foreign.
But I have been told you have two options with your headlight:
1 Dipped Beam
2 Main Beam
3rd option was never explained to me, “High Beam” i was fully in understanding that this would be the main beam, but please feel free to correct me if i’am wrong.
If your telling me that your bike does, tell me the make and model and i will personally tell the manufacturer.

Bear in mind that most of the arris-hole bikers are fat middle-aged divorced [zb]s trying to relive their youth, so the lights blinding everyone is the same effect as a transit loaded to the ■■■■■■■■… too much weight on the back

Its not just bikes though. I’ve been doing a lot of night work since I started for the new firm and the amout of ■■■■■ coming the other way (duals and m’ways) that leave their lights on main beam is getting stupid.
■■■■ em, I’ll just switch mine back on till they get the hint

I was going to say it was the power of acceleration
