I don’t start til the 3rd June, finished my old job yesterday and now have a week off to get myself moved back down south
4 hrs waiting for them to load the bottom deck of a d/d with empty cages 
don’t bare thinking about how long it would take to put 70 loaded cages on,guess that’s where the 12 hr shifts comes in,stick to a few expresses if you want 5/6/7 hr shifts

There are really well paid jobs out there, most like yours (and mine) are own account operations , I do 4 nights out a week average 48 hours, I finish Friday lunch time never work weekends and never any bank holidays… and I earn nearly £40,000 a year… So to people like Pimpdaddy Truck on…“fella”… 
I’ll keep on trucking on less money but a hell of a lot more happiness…

poor old Pimpdaddy, you’ve got it bad mate, I know some people like to knock a company every now and again but it’s every other day with you, tesco this, tesco that. You said previously that you used to do agency(■■) work for them, what’s the big been in your bonnet with tesco??, I’m curious.
I’ve only been with them 3 days, so I can’t comment either way on why you don’t like them.
By the way that I can see it, like every big firm, it has its way of working and once you get used to it, the job looks fine, if you don’t get used to it, it’s hard work

Cheers mate, I know and I understand that some firms deserve it, but Pimpdaddy is everyday at tesco, I can’t get my head round it, life’s too short to hold grudges, say what ya gotta say and move on, other wise it wares you down.
I’ve been doin my CPC today, also tomorrow and Friday, off the weekend and then might be packed off to another site for training next week, find out on Friday. Goin alright so far though.
Glad it’s going well for you selby, people should understand that ‘tesco’ doesn’t suit everyone, it isn’t the be & end all of everything. Like I’ve said before life is not all about money for me, I still have respect for myself & above all ethics looking at the bigger picture always, I’m sure most other people do its just that that are applied to different things in different ways…

Cheers mate, I’d never say any company is the be all and end all, all companies have their faults, if you can get sed to them and work around them, all well and good, if not, it would be best to jump ship and move on.
I have respect for myself also, that’s why I’ve tried to better myself and give my family a better life by getting a job with more money than I was on before, money is the reason you or I work, I want to earn as much as I can when I’m doing it. If tesco doesn’t turn out to be for me, I’ll move on, but I’ll do that knowing I gave it my best shot.
Who you working for if you don’t mind me asking?? I don’t or wont have an opinion on who it is, just curious
Good, i care about my family so much that if I hear that any of them say they shop in tesco I tell them off… Strangely most live in Reading…

I just had a look and your right, it’s £32,011 and above for the 40% tax rate, quite surprised really, I always thought it was alot higher than that.

Careful what you wish for, yes you maybe on £40k or whatever but the taxman will be happier to see you rather than low wage me on payday…

32,011 above your allowance that’s at around £9500 today. So around £41.5k… anything you earn above that you’d pay 40% on.
