Tesco interview

Pimpdaddy:
Careful what you wish for, yes you maybe on £40k or whatever but the taxman will be happier to see you rather than low wage me on payday…

:open_mouth: :open_mouth: I’m not on 40k and done expect to get anywhere near it, would be nice to be earning that kind of dosh

Not yet you mean…lol

Hi guys

I have been offered a job with one company and I’ve been told about the pay and conditions and I also passed the first stage of Class 1 interview with Tesco and I’ve been invited to come for the next stage in 10 days time.
Unfortunately I haven’t been told what the conditions are that Tesco Dagenham is offering and I’ve been told I will be told about all these after I pass my second stage, driving assessment test.
Now, from what I have seen on the notice board while at Tesco Dagenham is that the pay is 10.69/hour but know nothing else.
Roughly the same pay I’ve been offered at some other place, passed my driving test and have been offered a job with a start next week.
If the conditions are not as attractive at Tesco I will stick to the job I was offered starting from next week.
Has anyone of you guys went through the process of getting a Class 1 job at Tesco Dagenham recently or is being employed as a Class 1 driver there and would be willing to let me know what are they offering at this depot, or maybe someone that works at some other depot would be willing to let me know what I can expect from Tesco.
Thanks

Expect to get paid lots of £££(£40k+ to be precise apparently) & drive an old white clapped out axor that can’t even do 50mph:)

Always go for the money never bother what you have to drive, cash pays the bills not a posh truck.

That’s why I’m going to Tesco’s, so what if I’m driving an Axor and not a MegaTopTrotterXXL with banks of shiny lights
And pimpdaddy the one I drove on my assessment did 50, well it would have done had there wasn’t a rigid in front of me doing about 49 and I knew what would have happened had I gone for the overtake

So no one has accidents then :unamused: :unamused:
If I had gone to overtake him he would have speeded up, and on a driving assessment I was taking the risk…
