Tesco interview

Best of it now exactly 6 months after we deemed surplus to requirements because they could run it with their own staff
Northern drivers direct are advertising for 150 drivers to work out of Doncaster

Those so called 150 jobs aren’t ‘real’ now are they if they’re being advertised by ‘northern drivers direct’, don’t tell me you’re stupid enough to believe that, but then again you did/will/would work for tesco again so…

There are real rang them up and got details of pay etc and passed it on to our solicitor

There aren’t any real jobs with agencies drive, your solicitor doesn’t stand a chance with tesco…

Socketset:
Ahh, Whitley.

Seem to remember some years back it being in the news because of the very large [zb] works there which caused the Whitley Niff

Not so much of a whiff theses days, just a bit of odour

The case is not against tesco it’s stobart s we are taking to court

Who’s legal interests are likely to be paid for & manipulated by yours truly…

Unite are funding the case

Anybody know what the rates are @ the Reading site ?

Good luck…

Are you making the move for the job or are you looking for the job because of a need to move?

Heard drivers were about 35k, warehouse 18k’ish days and 22k’ish nights…but that might have changed as I understand they were struggling to fill the posts and even reopened the closing date for applicants

Tesco phoned me Tuesday and offered me a job, I’m going in next Wednesday to sort out a uniform and ID’s and arrange a start date.

I’m moving for a few reasons really, haven’t really settled up here, sick of agency work, even though I’ve been on the same placement for 2 1/2 years, missing having a proper full time job, missing family and friends etc etc, we had a chat as a family about it and we’re all happy to move back down south.

Good result, pleased for ya

Coleys got to be a worst area than Whitley. Nice development going up in Three mile cross it would be a lot of money but you would be that close you could walk to work.
